My boyfriend and I really wanted to attend a diving course and we did a lot of research on the internet and compared prices, the cheapest was 60 euros. However, when we went for a walk in Mellieha, we discovered by chance "Seashell Die Centre". We went in and the gentleman at the counter gave us a brochure with the services and prices. At this Centre the cost was, as far as I remember between 70-80 eurosI told him in a normal tone that we found a price of 60 euro on the internet and I couldn't even finish my sentence/question and the gentleman immediately interrupted me and said with an aggressive tone "then book your diving cure somewhere else!". I answered him that I do not find his aggressive tone in order, because I talk to him normally and decently and just wanted to ask what is the difference between his service and the service of the other center for 60 euro. He still remained with an aggressive tone and replied, "If you want I can tell my landlord to make my rent cheaper or if you want I can charge all my 6 employees 10 euros, then you have your 60 euros!" These employees also laughed when he said that! My friend and I were merely shocked by this behavior and left immediately! How can you treat tourists this way! took a picture of this dubious center and the employees who were still laughing cheekily can be seen on it. Too bad who the gentleman who has talked aggressively, is not on the picture!
