What an amazing hike a few times around this private reserve. I had great guides who were knowledgeable and very welcoming. We met a lot of different species in the comfort of relatively few people around. Because the only people I saw close up in the lizard were me and my guide. Seeing gecko, lizards, birds, and some other strange lemur species and wonderful insects and bed bugs. Just love every second here. Prices half of national parks and twice as much experience! If you are in this area you must go to the destination.

The Michinzu Hotel is a small forest reserve by the local community, less well-known national park Andasibe than, but I felt it was a better option. We took two sightseeing tours, 2-3 hours walk in the afternoon (about 2 pm) and 2 hours walk in the evening (at 6:30 pm). Its good or bad depends on your choice and the guide can't see your luck because it is still a nature. In the afternoon we followed a guide called Pierre who was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. After we paid 40,000 ar per person for the ticket and the guide tip you can give one. This is it, if you don’t like traveling, you don’t have to pay for the guide. He showed us the first indri and brown lemurs for lunch - because the deeper forest in the lizard. After that we wanted to find small animals like reptiles and lizards. We walked to the beautiful orchid garden and back to the office. It was a bit disappointing at night. It only took 20,000 ar 2 hours per person (plus guide tip), but we thought we would see more when we were able to go to the forest (which is an advantage compared to Andasibe National Park, which doesn’t allow you to go to the forest at night and walk with the guide on both sides of the road). Maybe we didn’t have a guide (we went to Richardson) or we weren’t lucky, like I said it was a natural, it was unpredictable. We saw two chameleons (one sleeping office next to and near a large lake in orchid garden), some evening butterflies, a gecko and some frogs. Both are walking lights and you don't need a lot of water and food to carry you with you. What you do is need a good repellent and camera.
