Great place to watch the stars!
Although it took a long time from my place to this Observatory ( I was from Beppu, so i had to take the train to Tozaki then bus to Saganoseki and taxi to this observatory), it was really worth the tr...
Very friendly Astronomers there, you are bound to meet one that speaks good english; they don't mind to take the time to explain things to you. A nicely isolated area away from city lights on the othe...
First visit after renewal. I couldn't enjoy the scenery because of the purpose of watching the planetarium at night, but the planetarium was spectacular. The voice of the woman who explained the starry sky tonight was very comfortable, and the hall was dark, so I almost fell asleep, but I was able to watch it safely until the end. On the way back, I came back in another safe mountain. (Sagaseki Circulation Line) The destination Kaiseikan is a facility that is more than I expected and the admission fee is free, but astronomical observation is charged. There is a lighthouse below, many fishing boats in the sea, and Cape Sada, Ehime Prefecture in the distance. Photos of the Asagi Madala (traveling butterfly) are also exhibited ...
