The Campanilla really resembles the Venice (such bells are apparently typical for this region). The visible from a distance and in the evening is very beautifully illuminated, so it looks even more effective than at the bottom ...
The bell building began in 1291 and lasted for more than half a century. For its long life, the bell survived fires, earthquakes, lightning strikes and reconstruction.
Pordenone
In the Pordenone downtown the are a lot of attractions: churches, places, monument..... But I prefere the enchanting Campanile San Marco.
attractive
Attractive church bell, similar to one on St, Marco square in Venice. Unfortunately not open for visitors...
Beautiful!
Beautiful landmark in Pordenone! It's absolutely a must see. The architecture is absolutely breathtaking! You will not be disappointed.
