Nanshan Museum is one of the largest museums at the district (county) level in terms of existing building area in China, covering an area of about 19,000 square meters and a building area of about 36,000 square meters. It houses nearly 10,000 pieces (sets) of various cultural relics, including ancient Yue bronze ware from the pre-Qin to Han dynasties, Ming and Qing coastal defense relics, relics related to the Maritime Silk Road, Guangfu folk customs artifacts, and Nanshan reform and opening-up relics.
