Tim Burton's World of Imagination Exhibition.
I had the good fortune to encounter the Tim Burton's World of Imagination exhibition when I visited Taipei. It was showcased on the first floor of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Exhibition Room No. 1.
The World of Imagination exhibition first debuted at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2009, and since then it has toured the world, including stops in Japan and Korea. This is its first time in Taiwan!
The venue is divided into 10 sections, displaying over five hundred pieces of work.
Tim Burton's style is whimsical and bizarre, with a cute yet strange approach. In his works, one can see the juxtaposition of comedy and fear, a playful technique that leaves a lasting impression. It was truly an eye-opening experience. 🥹
Came here in the late afternoon so it was cooler but the sky was just beautiful with such a large landscape of garden plots and sight of memorial hall. The contrast of white building against the blue sky was perfect for photography. Watch the flag lowering at CKS.
Another popular check-in point for tourists who come to Taiwan, very hot!!
There are a lot of people, like an activity courtyard. There are students coming to practice dance, practicing a yoyo, very cute.
Taipei's famous attractions Many people walk their dogs here The National Theatre is also here It is worth taking time to visit the Zhongzheng Memorial Hall There are also many exhibitions worth paying attention
The area of 15,600 square meters, built in 175 years, in order to commemorate Chiang Kai-shek, the first floor is to introduce Chiang Kai-shek's life and cultural relics and screening room, the top floor is Chiang Kai-shek bronze statue and bell tower, but the most attractive people are the soldiers every hour to change shifts.
