Baizhangyan Sceneic Area

Baizhangyan is located at the southern end of the White Stork Mountains in Penghu Town, Yongchun County. The peak is called Ma De Shan, and the temple on the peak is commonly known as Ma Shi and Ma Temple. It is also called Baizhang Rock because it has a single peak, and there are colorful boulders in front of the temple, which resemble candles to the sky. The temple was first built in the Song Dynasty, and it is mainly dedicated to the daughter of the Ma family, commonly known as the fairy mother of the Ma family. Baizhangyan has a unique geographical location and steep mountains. It is like a nine-day range rover when you climb up and overlook it. Looking into the distance, the village is full of smoke, and the Taoxi is winding, making people feel relaxed and happy, known as "Little Mount Tai". The main attractions in the scenic spot are Baizhang Terraced Fields, Millennium Ancient Cypress, Cifeng Yuxiu, Xiangtian Candle, Digmi Cave, Princess Hall, Middle Hall, Front Hall, Range Rover Pavilion and Wax Museum. Since the past dynasties, many tourists have traveled thousands of miles to Baizhangyan, or chanted in the Range Rover, or made a wish to the fairy mother Zhanxiang, or Zhanmeng praying for blessings, in order to have a successful career, peace and prosperity. The main temple of Baizhang Immortal Mountain is called Princess Hall, which was rebuilt in the 1980s. It is a brick and wood structure, simple and elegant, with fine carvings in the hall. In the hall is enshrined the real body of the fairy mother, whose face has turned black due to long-term aromatherapy. . During the Cultural Revolution, the statue was secretly collected and protected by local believers and survived. There are small and exquisite bell and drum towers on both sides of the front of the hall. There are wing rooms on both sides of the main hall, and there is a "Xianxiang Yidu" for tourists to stay overnight or pray for fairy dreams. In front of the Princess Palace, there are two multicolored boulders, shaped like burning candles, which were called "Xiangtian Candle" in ancient times. The candle is facing the statue of the fairy godmother in the hall, and it will last forever.
