It's an old building, so there's no elevator, but the staff kindly helped me carry my luggage upstairs when I checked in. The lack of a bed curtain was a slight inconvenience, but overall it was a good stay."

We had a great stay at the Crown Spa Hotel. All the staff were super friendly, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were clean and fresh, we had a sea view. Meals in the Restaurant were very good value and excellent quality.
We had treatments in the Spa, the Girls were super friendly, welcoming and chatty.
We will certainly be returning.

Guest UserThe hotel must have been amazing in the past but unfortunately it's way beyond it's best. We had to wait 45 minutes to check in. My single room was the size of a box with no soap or shower gel. The window sill was filthy along with the window and there was a nest of seagulls on my window sill. They were so noisy.
The room doors are so heavy and noisy and people were banging them all night.
The rest of the hotel was tired and needs a good injection of money to be worthy of staying here again.
We will not be back.
All the staff were very friendly though.

Dede.xiansenThis hotel has great style! From the interior design to the cocktails, everything was excellent. Although breakfast isn't a buffet, there are plenty of options, very local and English. The hotel even has a basement that served as a shelter during WWII and has now been converted into a spa – very cool, definitely worth checking out. The hotel pantry also offers complimentary snacks, fruits, and drinks. It's truly good, and the location is fantastic. The record player and vinyl records in the room are a wonderful touch.

Beautiful hotel only 10 minutes walk from the city centre
Our room was clean and cosy
In the room was hairdryer, iron and ironing board as well as tea/coffee facilities and an electric fan which was definitely needed with temps reaching 29 degrees 🥵
The outdoor area was stunning with lots of seating and little pods to dine in of an evening very pretty all lit up at night
All the staff were friendly and helpful
We will definitely return in the near future.

Guest UserStayed one night because of the marathon the next day. The staffs were friendly and procedures like Checkin are convenient. Great location, close to the station and hotel. However, the inability of the air conditioner to heat up made the room less comfortable. But I stillI had a good rest here and set a PB in the race the next day, so it was a good stay overall.

NilpThe hotel stay was really peaceful and quiet, very clean and spacious big room and space. The food was delicious and the waiters were so helpful and friendly. The staff helped us and gave a free chocolate box for my friend's birthday party.

Lee AkoNot what you expect from a Hilton hotel. Small rooms in separate buildings. We were put into a tiny room with no Aircon as it was broken, the wall lights didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t flush. After a trip to the reception we were moved but it’s not a hotel we will return to.

Guest UserThe location is fantastic! Our room had a view of the church, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the cathedral. It's even more convenient if you're traveling by train, as the station is only a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast is a Western-style quick meal, with a limited selection. I really enjoyed the grilled mushrooms, and the cereal bowls were delicious too.
The room and bathroom were a bit small, and you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and slippers.

Guest UserOverall a great stay, staff very attentive and friendly, executive breakfast good.....2 downsides..very firm mattress and no power points by bed......plus I also think charging guests £15 a night for parking is a bit naughty....I'd suggest £15 per stay for guests staying 2 nights or more....
