The innkeeper retains security at the hostel through the night and morning. It really feels safe to know someone is at the compound door. They gave me top floor room which has a great view of old town square and the bridge across the water. The highlight of this property really is being a stone’s throw from Gdansk’s nightlife district. You don’t need to worry about catching the bus.
This hotel has the advantage of being quiet in a residential area, but it's a little far from the main street. I liked the unique atmosphere after being assigned to the room, but the room was dust, a spider(?), and shower booth mold. It was a pity that the hygiene was terrible.
Staying at The Radisson Gdansk was not just a trip—it was an experience. From the moment we stepped into the tranquil lobby scented with yuzu and cedar, we were immersed in elegance and refinement.
Our suite overlooked a canals. The hotel’s Michelin dinner was unforgettable, as was the traditional onsen spa experience.
Service was intuitive, discreet, and truly world-class. Every staff member treated us not as guests, but as honored visitors. This is more than just a luxury hotel—it’s where hospitality becomes art. Worth every yen.
The FAMA hotel is located in a fantastic location in the Old Town of Gdansk. You are surrounded by restaurants and bars in the beautifully restored center. The restaurant of the FAMA hotel serves a great variety of breakfast, that is really top of the bill!
The room is large, clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. The port is right outside the door. The scenery is pleasant. The sea view room is beautiful. The breakfast is rich. The facilities are complete and comfortable. The environment is beautiful.
Comfortable hotel, great location, nice swimming pool on the roof, comfortable bed, food really very tasty - delicious toast with eggs Benedict, I recommend it for breakfast :-)
The hotel itself and the rooms are clean, quiet, you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city... the price list of dishes and alcohol is rather for Western tourists :-) but... but whoever decides to stay in good Polish hotels should not comment on the prices: -))) we see what we choose.
I recommend!
I had a really nice stay at Hola. The staff was very welcoming , friendly and helpful. The rooms are very elegant , clean and fresh.I cant say enough about the beds , very comfortable and gave me a good night rest. They also provide some water, tea and coffee in the room. The hotel is located close to the centre so i was able to access different points of the city from that point, its at a really convenient location.Their breakfasts was really nutritious and delicious , so many options to choose from.Overall this is a cozy and and comfortable hotel and i would highly recommend to anyone visiting Gdynia!!
The hotel has a great location—very close to the old town and surrounded by many restaurants, making it convenient for exploring the area.
Parking: The hotel offers underground parking located in a nearby building. However, it is quite expensive. Just across from the entrance to that building, there's a public parking lot available at about half the price. It might be worth considering this more economical option.
Breakfast: The breakfast at the hotel is on the pricier side compared to similar hotels. Fortunately, there are plenty of nearby restaurants where you can enjoy a more budget-friendly breakfast in a relaxed, non-hotel setting.

AAbelDDDFacilities: The hotel gave me a room on the top floor, which was a bit strange in shape. It was a bit depressing to lie on the bed, which affected my senses.
Hygiene: The hygiene was OK.
Environment: There are Ferris wheels, carousels, and boats around, and the scenery is good.
Service: Good breakfast
GGuest UserConvenient location. Bus, tram, and train right on your doorstep. Lidl in the basement! Parking in the underground car park is easy, but the €11 price is a bit steep... but it's safe! Awesome breakfast! Highly recommended. The gym is showing its age, not bad, but not good either...
The only real drawback... the ladies who clean the rooms are ”very, very perfunctory.”
Otherwise, highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a convenient location near old town and on a quiet street. The rooms are nicely furnished with a small sofa, a couple of chairs, a desk and good lighting. The bathroom was clean with good shower pressure.
We used the sauna and the pool which are in the next building over. When we went at night it was pretty busy, the changeroom is for both men/women but the showers are separated.
The hotel had plenty of street parking when we stayed so we lucked out - the hotel has paid parking for 80 PLN to park in their parkade.
We found there wasn't much near the hotel except for a handful of restaurants and a convenience store. Lots of restaurants and shops are within a 5-10 minute walk so it is convenient enough.
AAnonymous UserExcellent location located right in the Old town. Less than 5 minutes walk to Old Town Hall and St Mary's Basilica . Front desk staff are courteous and very proficient in English. The reception hall is spacious with comfortable sofa. The room is clean and comfortable We really enjoyed the morning breakfast, a lot of food varieties.
GGuest UserPros: Great location, less than 30 seconds on foot to Long Market.
Cons:
- There's some road construction, the Uber we took from the airport to hotel can't find way to hotel therefore he took several rides around, trying to find a way and in the end, we need to carry our luggage for few hundred meters on cobble stone road.
- The checkout time, according to the receptionist, is 11:00, not 12:00 as on Trip.com
- Since Uber driver can't find the right way to hotel, we asked the receptionist to call a taxi. She called a car (not sure if it's a taxi since there's no meter) and when we reached the train station (2 km away), the driver asked 35 zl for a trip on Uber cost 15 zl.
IImpedanc3Room was really big for solo travellers. The hotel is located opposite Gdansk Glowny Station, which you can cross the road or take the underpass.

MMartin Anthony MiszerakVery pleasant and comfortable hotel just off the Old Town of Gdansk. The rooms are spacious and very clean. An excellent breakfast is served, but the other meals are less overwhelming. For example, the Ceasar Salad I ordered had actually little in common with what a ceasar ought be. The most irritating experience occurred in the swimming pool. The hotel disposes of a beautiful swinning pool which I love to use. However, wwhen I arrived the first day, the pool was was occupied by some acqua gym group and in effect not available to hotel guests. This is totally inacceptable. The hotel guests must be given priority in the use of the pool!
MMareksXxsS66Rg9I had the pleasure of spending two nights (24-26 October 2025) at the Hotel Olivia and I am generally satisfied with your stay. The room was clean and well-careed, which definitely is on plus. The staff was very nice and helpful, always ready to answer my questions.
The location of the hotel is good, 7.4 km straight from the main PKP station a little too far I think, but the former taxis and city communications it wasn't so terrible
The only downside was the light noise from the sports hall that sometimes disturbed the night, and yet I recommend this hotel for a short stay I will definitely return in the future.
