BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatSecond time staying here â the hotel itself is clean and very comfortable, the rooms are well equipped. Breakfast is pretty good. This time around we had a bit of a struggle at check in which also caused a problem at breakfast the next day.
The lady who checked us in (Megan) asked me four (4) times if I needed parking and didnât seem to believe me when I kept saying no. She also told us our room wasnât ready even though we checked in at 4pm, an hour after check-in time, and told us weâd need to take a 2 queen room instead of a king room.
I told her weâd rather wait for a king room because thatâs what we paid for, and lo and behold, suddenly she had one.
We paid for breakfast with our stay, but she forgot to give us tickets for breakfast. Made it very awkward when we went to breakfast the next day and had to insist that weâd paid for breakfast. They still gave us a bill for breakfast, but then after talking to the front desk realized it was a mistake.
They were kind, but it was still very awkward having to defend the fact that weâd paid for breakfast already. They said we were the second group that day which the front desk had forgotten to give breakfasttickets to.
All in all, aside from the people and the awkwardness caused, it was a good stay. Weâll hope for better service next time we come back.

AAnonymous UserThe staff was very nice and friendly. The chlorine smell was overwhelming in the lobby and it was even worse in the pool area. We couldnât stay in the pool area for more than 5 minutes before we had rashes and had trouble breathing because of the chlorine. The room was not that great a broken receptacle cause me a minor zap. A random chair in the far corner that seemed wedged against the wall had a water stair or something on the foot rest part (we stayed away from that it looked like it had seen better days or was ready to just give up. Broken security lock on door, burn in curtain in a non smoking room, the curtain was hard to close, broken door stop on bathroom door, shower curtain was much too small for the shower which cause water to end up on the bathroom floor so much so that the bath mat couldnât keep the floor without a small puddle. For a two night stay for two people we were given 3 towels. Thankfully I always bring my own towels. The jacuzzi tub was amazing though after we cleaned and disinfected it. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The incessant pounding that started the second morning at 10am and went until who knows when ( we got so sick of it we drove over to Hershey for the day around noon). The first day at 4pm was when we first noticed the pounding at 6:30 we went for dinner because the noise was a bit much and came back around 9:30pm. The next day (second day) we found out when it started again it was construction 3 rooms away they were putting in flooring.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for 4 nights and 5 days, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. The rooms were great â clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The hallways were absolutely amazing, lined with bookcases and cozy seating areas, all surrounded by fascinating history that truly made the Inn feel special and unique.
The mocktails at Triplets were delicious, and the coffee at the cafĂ© was just as impressive â such a treat during our stay. We were in town because my daughter danced at THON, so we were coming and going at all hours. It was incredibly comforting to be somewhere that felt so safe, welcoming, and conveniently close to everything we needed.
Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. I never once arrived or left without someone opening a door for me â that level of attentiveness and hospitality does not go unnoticed. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay.
I do need to especially mention Claire. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she made our stay so comforting. When my flight was canceled, Claire went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. She helped us navigate our travel changes and made a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out.
Thank you for making what was already a meaningful trip even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!

GGuest UserI was there for a church conference. My room was not ready until after 4pm, however being involved with the conference, there was not an issue. I had spoken to Kevin, manager at the registration desk several times. He, as well as his entire staff, were personable, friendly, courteous and was able to accommodate and answer any questions I had. The facility was clean, they were doing some painting in the main hallway (everything was well marked) and, even the painter was friendly. The only hiccup was that the bathroom tub/shower was extremely narrow. Someone who is bigger than I am would have a tough time being comfortable while taking a shower. All in all the facility, conference center, parking garage, coffee shop and restaurant staff were all great. The food during our conference was good and the wait staff (buffet style, served us) were friendly and professional as well. My room looked out over Lake Erie and the lighthouse. I would definitely recommending staying as well as having your functions at this facility.

SSimonBMThis was my third time staying here, and it continues to feel like a home away from home. The warm atmosphere, peaceful setting, and welcoming environment are the main reasons I keep coming back. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities, making it a very convenient place to stay.
I also really appreciate the complimentary breakfast, which is a great way to start the day. Having access to laundry facilities is another big advantage, especially for longer stays. The nearby park adds to the charm of the property and provides a nice place to relax or take a walk.
The only area that needs improvement is the Wi-Fi. During my stay, the internet connection was slow and unstable, with frequent fluctuations that made it difficult to browse the web or get work done. Improving the reliability and speed of the Wi-Fi would make the overall guest experience even better.
Overall, I had another enjoyable stay and would gladly return in the future. Despite the Wi-Fi issue, this remains one of my favorite places to stay because of its comfort, convenience, and welcoming atmosphere.

We would definitely recommend going to Mount Airy and we are looking forward to coming back again!

GGuest UserThe hotel was well located and we walked to the Calder Gardens that had recently opened. The room itself was good but I cant say it was 4 star. The bed was comfy and clean but the floor in the room was not carpeted which is cold to bare feet. . The bathroom was not great; one of the doors on the cabinet under the sink had broken off and was hanging by one hinge. The shower floor was delaminating and the retractable round mirror on the wall showed rust spots. None of these were deal breakers but it sure seemed to me that the room could use some âloveâ. The gym was good and had a nice amount of equipment & machines but the floor layout is rather small and so with a handful of people in there it felt crowded. The other âdownerâ was parking in that their garage and garages around it are extremely expensive. I arrived on a Saturday at 5pm and found street parking on Cherry & 23rd for only a few bucks as it is free after 6:30pm through Monday. Still, the staff was quite good and responsive to our needs. The location was great and the place was quiet at night.
