I chose this hotel for a concert at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), and it's super close to both the airport and AWE. You can walk to AWE in just a few minutes via the skybridge. They also have shuttle buses to the airport and Tung Chung. The service was excellent; I arrived a little after 9 AM, and since a room was ready, the front desk let me check in right away. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, pretty standard fare.
The downside is that the room was really, really small. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong musty smell. The sink and the bed were separated only by a small table. The room window was tiny and couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning wouldn't turn off, making it quite cold. Also, there were at least four mirrors in the room, with three of them facing the bed.

It feels like jump into the middle of Hong Kong movie. Everything is cool and the extravagant outside scenery of high buildings, it reminds me the news dealing the life of Hong Kong people. They were enduring their daily life staying at really tiny piece of room so called 'chicken box', yet could not leave this city to spare their own surrounders.
The great difference exists between the two places one for taking a rest and the other for spending money. I believe it stands out the identity of this city, and the reason which makes Hong Kong be loved by all around the world simultaneously.
Room condition for the 'Hong Kong Mansion' was pretty not bad, actually it's really hard to find another case with the same price. The managers of this building can speake english, so there's no difficulty to communicate with the foreigners just like me. Also, you can enjoy for luxury shopping since it is located in the central of shopping street literally.
This was my first time visiting Hong Kong, and I was a bit worried about the common online anecdotes of mainland Chinese tourists being looked down upon. However, the staff here were all very courteous. Since we were traveling with a child, they upgraded us to a family room. The beds, when put together, were spacious and much larger than I expected. Plus, they offer a free hotel shuttle that goes to the high-speed rail station and Disneyland, which was a huge convenience with a child as we didn't have to deal with multiple transfers. It saved us time, effort, and money, making for an excellent experience!

It's been almost 10 years since I last visited Hong Kong. This time, my kids wanted to go to Hong Kong Disneyland, so we booked a one-night stay at a Disneyland hotel and two days of park visits.
We stayed at the Explorer's Lodge, which is the newest of the three Disneyland hotels. The rooms are quite spacious, and the lobby is very grand. Prices were quite high for the May Day holiday; with taxes and service fees, two rooms came to over HKD 6,500.
The hotel service was good. Perhaps because we spoke Cantonese, the staff were very enthusiastic. They explained everything in detail, including breakfast arrangements at the hotel and the most convenient transportation options to Macau. When we checked in, the front desk initially said they'd arrange connecting rooms, but although we got two adjacent rooms, they weren't connecting after all 🤣. The front desk also noticed that we had a birthday guest this month and gave us two birthday badges and a towel cake, which was a nice touch that added to the experience.
When I booked the rooms, I didn't opt for breakfast because I'd stayed at the Disneyland Hotel before, and the included breakfast was a buffet with limited options. This time, we chose à la carte breakfast. For four people, we ordered four sets, and the portions were huge – we couldn't even finish them all. The breakfast tasted good, especially the beef brisket macaroni in the Hong Kong-style set, which was perfectly to my liking. The dim sum in the Chinese-style set was also quite delicious.

I visited during the holidays, and a deposit wasn't required for check-in, which was great. The front desk staff, a very kind gentleman, even upgraded my room upon arrival, which I really appreciated.
The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the MTR station, but they do offer a shuttle bus service. Be aware that you might have to queue, and it can get quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading back to the hotel, so you might not get on the first bus. Tsuen Wan MTR station is about a 30-minute ride to Disneyland, which isn't too far, so it's a good option if you're looking for value for money.
I spent all three days at Disneyland, so I didn't get a chance to use any of the hotel's other facilities. However, the room had a lovely view of the beach, which was a nice bonus.
The room was well-equipped with amenities like toothpaste and toothbrushes. Just remember to bring your own UK-style plug adapter. Overall, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money.

The ambiance is absolutely unique and elegant, a blend of classic, modern, and avant-garde. I'm driving right now, so I don't want to write too much. If you insist on me writing more, I will, but you have to give me the points. Don't trick me into not getting my points!

Coming to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊
At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food.
The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all.
The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!

We recently stayed at the Disney’s Hollywood Hotel for a birthday celebration weekend and honestly had such a lovely experience from start to finish. We booked the 2 day park ticket with a one night stay and it was the perfect little Disney escape.
The hotel itself is beautiful very clean, relaxing and full of Disney details without feeling too overwhelming. The Mickey-themed decor, mirrors and little touches around the hotel made everything feel really magical, especially for a birthday trip. The atmosphere felt calm and luxurious while still keeping the Disney excitement.
One of our favourite parts was the food. The dim sum was adorable and so creative especially the Mickey shaped dishes and character buns. Everything tasted great and felt like part of the experience rather than just a hotel meal. We also loved seeing all the seasonal and celebration details around the resort.
The staff throughout the hotel and parks were incredibly friendly and made the birthday feel special. We received birthday badges and everyone from cast members to other guests kept wishing “Happy Birthday,” which really added to the magic.
The location is also super convenient for the parks, and staying overnight meant we could properly enjoy both days without rushing. Watching the nighttime castle show and then heading back to the hotel without worrying about travelling home was definitely worth it.
We also really enjoyed the extra little experiences like the character artwork/sketches and all the photo opportunities around the hotel and park. Every corner felt photogenic and thoughtfully designed.
Overall, it was such a fun and memorable weekend and we would absolutely stay again. Perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or just a Disney getaway with friends or family. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a more immersive Hong Kong Disneyland experience.
This is my second time staying at the Gold Coast Hotel, and I really love the environment here! There's a beach right outside where you can play in the sand and swim. You can also take a stroll or exercise at Dolphin Square, and there's a food street just behind the hotel.
We stayed at Silvermine Beach Resort for one night and had a comfortable experience overall. The room was quite spacious, with a table and chairs as well as a very large bed, which made it feel relaxing and practical. The location was especially nice if you are looking for somewhere calm and quiet.
Check-in was uncomplicated and smooth. Do note that they require a HKD 500 deposit, either in cash or by credit card. The room was clean, and the shower was good as well. We did not try the breakfast or other facilities, so I cannot comment on those.
One small thing to note is that an extra toothbrush cost HKD 5. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable short stay.
