An absolutely perfect stay. The InterContinental Dalian boasts luxurious, elegant, and grand facilities. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and inviting, offering breathtaking views of the East Port shipyard and the ocean. Its prime downtown location provides incredibly convenient access to subway and bus lines, and taxi rides around the city are also very affordable. It's just a short walk to the historic century-old buildings around Zhongshan Square. Check-in was a breeze, and the service was attentive and incredibly warm. A special thank you to DANA at the front desk for her excellent service. I also appreciate the doormen who always helped me with my bags from the taxi. Finally, kudos to the F&B department for the thoughtful gesture of delivering red date and pear soup to my room in the evening, which was a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. Dalian truly is a fantastic city!

This stay was a far cry from my visit in March this year. Both times, I booked Executive Club rooms primarily for the lounge access to relax. 1. **High Deposit**: For a three-day stay, they charged a 6500 RMB deposit. I found it quite high and double-checked, but the front desk staff was unhelpful and curt, simply stating it was hotel policy. 2. **Insufficient Water**: On the day of check-in, there were only three 350ml bottles of water. By 6 PM, I ran out and had to resort to drinking tap water from the bathroom. When I returned in the afternoon, the water situation hadn't improved, so I called housekeeping, and they brought two 500ml bottles. The next day, it was the same story! I even had my cold and fever medication laid out in the room, yet the staff didn't think to simply provide more water, like six bottles straight away? 3. **Slippers**: Yes, when I came back on the second day, I needed new slippers because the ones from the first day were completely soaked after our shower, but no fresh slippers were provided by housekeeping. 4. **The Embarrassing Afternoon**: On my third day, I decided to extend my stay for another night. I informed the front desk about this at 2 PM that afternoon. What followed was a truly embarrassing and frustrating afternoon. I explicitly told the front desk that I had a cold and a fever, needed rest, didn't want any fruit or anything, and just wanted to sleep. That afternoon, housekeeping staff brought water, slippers, and fruit in three separate trips. I was running a fever and desperately wanted to sleep, but I had to keep getting up to answer the door! I then realized I hadn't pressed the 'Do Not Disturb' button (not blaming the staff, but I had already clearly told the front desk I didn't want fruit and just wanted to sleep), so I immediately activated DND. At 5 PM, I thought I could finally get some sleep. The moment I drifted off, the front desk called, asking if I wanted to check out, extend my stay, or refresh my key card, etc. (Don't your systems track this?!). At that point, I just wanted to go home!!! The Front Office Manager's approach to resolving the issue was quite subjective. During dinner at the restaurant, I was given a hotel cartoon mascot as a 'solution.' When she called, she did express apologies for these issues and offered me a discount of just over 150 RMB (which I believe was the difference for the executive lounge when I mistakenly extended to a different room type for the fourth night). She clearly had no idea about the embarrassing experience I had that afternoon. The next morning, still running a fever, I had to listen to her lecture me. That's when I decided to write my first truly serious negative review! I hope the hotel ensures they always have enough water and slippers ready! What's the point of charging such a high deposit?

We had the best views of the Yalu River, Broken bridge and the friendship bridge from our room and could look into North Korea with binoculars. The binoculars in the room were a thoughtful addition. Mr. Huang Rui at the Reception desk was very helpful. He helped us with transport and restaurant recommendations and kept checking in on us from time to time. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was really small and congested. However, the breathtaking view made up for it. So, no complaints. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was my first time in Shenyang, and among the many branded hotels, we chose the Hilton Shenyang Shimao. Firstly, because of our preference for the brand, and secondly, because of its excellent location and convenient transportation. During check-in, Ms. Grace Hou at the front desk was warm, attentive, and very professionally handled our procedures. Throughout our stay, whenever we needed anything and called the front desk, the staff would respond quickly and provide meticulous service, making our stay more comfortable and pleasant. Our room on the 8th floor offered a fantastic view of Shenyang, overlooking Qingnian Street. The room was very clean, and the bedding and toiletries were high-quality, ensuring a great night's rest. The breakfast was rich and varied, and both the manager and staff were polite and provided thoughtful service. It's precisely because of the high quality of both the hotel's soft and hard amenities that we decided to spend all our nights in Shenyang at the Shimao Hilton. Highly recommend!

Big thanks to Eric, the concierge manager, for helping us have such a wonderful holiday! The hotel's location is fantastic; there's a subway station right downstairs, MixC Shopping Mall is nearby, and the Caidian Tower Night Market is just across the street. We added Manager Jin on WeChat after checking in, and communication was always prompt and smooth, which is perfect for family trips. We'll definitely book here again next time! The breakfast was also excellent. Getting around is super convenient; if you want a great scrub, Xinghe Yunhai nearby is highly recommended. Plus, Shenyang North Station is easily accessible by subway, which is a big plus!

My kid absolutely loved the Ultraman theme. The hotel has been renovated, and they really hit the mark with the minibar and kids' welcome gift. The water temperature in the children's pool was great. The executive lounge breakfast has also been updated, and the breakfast on the first floor offers an even wider variety. We always come here for the food, and the service is, of course, impeccable. When we left, they even gave my child a small toy, which made them very happy. We'll definitely be back to stay here again next time we're in Dalian.

I booked rooms for my bosses this time, and as soon as I submitted the order, I received a proactive message from Lynn. Her prompt response immediately put my mind at ease! What surprised me even more was that she specifically arranged both of my bosses' rooms on the 21st floor, a high floor. Not only did they have bright, open views, but the two rooms were also very close to each other, making it convenient for them to communicate. She even considered such small details for us, which was incredibly thoughtful and saved us a lot of hassle! Later, when we unexpectedly needed to extend the stay, I just mentioned it to Lynn, and she quickly helped me coordinate everything. The whole process was efficient and smooth. After checking in, both bosses gave feedback that the rooms were comfortable and the arrangements were considerate, all thanks to Lynn's attentiveness. We might have similar booking needs in the future, so please keep an eye out for us!

As soon as I entered the hotel, the handsome concierge helped me carry my luggage, showed me the way enthusiastically, and told me where to eat and where to have fun. It felt like an old friend who hadn't seen me for many years. The check-in at the front desk was also very smooth, and they helped me arrange a quiet non-smoking room. It was very considerate and the service exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the bed was very comfortable, and the big bathtub was perfect. It was so comfortable to take a hot bath at night. I fell asleep quickly. It snowed in Fushun, and the snow scene was so beautiful. The facilities in the hotel are also very complete, with a gym and a swimming pool. I went swimming a few laps when I had nothing to do, and it felt very refreshing. The location is also good. There are shopping malls and snack streets outside, and it is convenient to go anywhere. Speaking of food, the breakfast is so rich that it makes people dazzled. There are all kinds of Chinese and Western food, especially the bread and desserts are great. The experience is very good, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely high. It is worth the money and recommended.

This hotel is perfectly located! We were able to walk to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, Xiaonan Church, and Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence all within 15 minutes. They even have robots that deliver takeout right to your room on the upper floors, which was a fun surprise. The free underground parking is incredibly convenient. From the 26th-floor observation deck, you can even catch a beautiful night view of the Imperial Palace. The front desk service was excellent, and the self-service afternoon tea had a great variety. The coffee started at 9 am and was really good. Check-in and check-out were super fast, with no deposit or room inspection required, which was incredibly convenient. I'd definitely stay here again; I was truly impressed! There's also a large shopping mall nearby, making dining and shopping very easy. Oh, and they have billiards and a library on the first floor for guests to enjoy. The free underground parking is a huge plus.

Lovely experience. The staff were helpful, I arrived early and they managed to give me a room. The breakfast spread is amazing! It’s right in front of the subway station and I could walk to the theatre opposite, which worked out really well as I was there to attend a concert. There was even a little rooftop garden at the restaurant level. Didn’t have time to use the amazing fitness facilities. Would love to stay again.

LLeedearHotel is located on Youhao Rd. It's along one of the roads away from the railway station. At night, it can be noisy but not too bad. Best feature of the room: automatic curtains. It gets bright early in Dalian. The free breakfast was very good. Wide spread from local foods to western cereals/yoghurt and breads and a buffet selection of cooked food. Lobby is on 16th floor so u have to take a lift up.

GGuest UserI stayed at Conrad Dalian for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The room had a beautiful view, the breakfast was delicious, and above all, I was deeply impressed by the exceptional kindness and professionalism of the staff. I would especially like to thank Lily and Yaya at the reception for their warm hospitality, and I am also grateful to every other staff member who made my stay so pleasant. This is truly an outstanding hotel, and I would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommended. 굉장히 좋은호텔이고 만족했어요 직원들 서비스가 예전 한국같네요 좋은의미로 추천합니다

__WeChat341802****From August 22nd to 24th, 2025, I had the pleasure of staying at the Dalian Midsummer Garden Hotel for three days and two nights. Luckily, the hotel had just been renovated, and the amenities were impeccable—absolutely first-rate, elegant, dignified, and comfortable! The surroundings were also fantastic. Just 1.8 kilometers south is the Conch Square at Fujiazhuang Beach Park, a perfect spot for swimming for adults and a great place for children to play in the sand! From Fujiazhuang Conch Square, it's only three bus stops to the south gate of the Forest Zoo. From there, walk along the coastal wooden boardwalk along Binhai West Road for about two kilometers to Dalian's Xinghai Square! By the way, you absolutely have to walk that boardwalk!      But I want to highlight the hotel's exceptional service and quality. It's truly a heartwarming and loving place! I remember clearly that around 1:00 p.m. on August 22nd, two of us, both in our seventies, had just arrived and checked in. When the hotel manager learned we hadn't eaten yet, he immediately instructed the kitchen to prepare two separate lunches for us and delivered them to our room! They also kept reminding us to call the staff if we needed any help! From the moment we checked in, we were met with such warm, thoughtful, and attentive service, like a spring breeze and warmth! Over the past decade or so, I've traveled from Ruili Port in Yunnan to Hailar in Manzhouli, Manchuria, and Northeast China, from Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, and Anhui to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi, from Sanya in Hainan to Gulangyu in Xiamen. Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this one left the deepest impression, the best, and the most heartwarming! I sincerely give Midsummer Garden Hotel a thumbs up!
