I had a comfortable stay at Baghdad Babylon Rotana. The hotel has a pleasant setting beside the Tigris, and the staff were professional and helpful. Security is understandably very strict, with airport-style screening at the entrance, which provides reassurance although it can make arrival slightly slower. My travel cooker was retained by security during my stay and returned when I checked out. The hotel is a good choice for travellers who prioritise security, comfort and a convenient location in Baghdad. Overall, a positive experience.

I keep coming back to this hotel because of the kindness from the team lead by mr sari, Sophia, Alan, Mariyam and Faisal. When they are there they make the environment feel home and takes extra measure for our safety as well as comfort. The hotel environment was quiet and peaceful, with meticulous cleanliness. The facilities were complete and easy to use, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options. The service was attentive and thoughtful; overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.

The hotel service was great, and they even offer currency exchange. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast wasn't as varied as at other hotels I've stayed in.

I was in Baghdad for a business trip. On the evening I checked in, my schedule unexpectedly changed, leaving me with a free day the next day. Knowing Baghdad has many famous attractions, but having done no prior research and not speaking the local language, I decided to try my luck and contacted the hotel manager to explain my needs. To my surprise, the hotel not only offered car rental services (with SUV and commercial van options) but, within a short while, also connected me with Ali, a local guide who spoke excellent English. Both the car rental and guide fees were very reasonable, quite unlike the exorbitant prices I'd seen through other channels. The next day, I directly explored Baghdad's Old City and the ruins of Babylon. The entire experience was incredibly smooth; the driver was exceptionally careful, and the guide provided a wealth of historical insights. By the time I got back to the hotel, it was already past 3 PM. When the hotel manager learned I hadn't had lunch yet, he thoughtfully arranged for the kitchen to freshly prepare a serving of handmade noodles with two small cold dishes. It was incredibly authentic and absolutely delicious. This hotel truly left me with a wonderful and unforgettable impression of Baghdad.
