Let's start with the downsides:
The room's aisle was so narrow I couldn't even open my suitcase.
The shower stall was tiny; I'd bump into the walls if I wasn't careful.
The soundproofing was quite poor.
Now for the positives:
It's cheap and close to Haneda Airport.
The front desk staff were incredibly nice; they intentionally spoke slowly, knowing my English wasn't great.

I initially wanted to stay in Minatomirai, but really didn't want an old room, so I chose the Hyatt – and I'm so glad I did! The service was super nice, as expected from Japanese hospitality. The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and the airport shuttle stop at Yamashita Park is also nearby. It's really convenient for visiting attractions like Chinatown, Yamashita Park, Red Brick Warehouse, and Nippon Maru; all are within walking distance. There are three convenience stores downstairs, perfect for grabbing snacks if you can't sleep in the middle of the night. Yokohama is very chill, and staying here is equally chill. The best part? When I woke up this morning, I looked out the window and saw Mount Fuji 🗻 – what a pleasant surprise!
I booked this room in Fujisawa mainly to visit Kamakura. The hotel is very close to Fujisawa Station, and there are plenty of restaurants, entertainment, and shopping nearby. It's also the starting point for the Enoden Line. The hotel is quite clean and worth staying at.
The room is relatively new, clean, and larger than the average Japanese hotel. It is very convenient to travel next to the subway, and there are food and shopping malls around

Facilities: Well-equipped, with the front desk located on a higher floor.
Cleanliness: Good, with timely daily cleaning.
Ambiance: As a newly opened hotel, the environment is excellent. You can see the park below the mountain and the Hikawa Maru ship right across from the hotel.
Service: Excellent, they are responsive to all requests.
Highlights: The Haneda Airport shuttle bus stop is right across the street, and the subway station is about a 5-minute walk away.
Amenities: There's a 24-hour supermarket within a 5-minute walk and a large Don Quijote store within a 10-minute walk.
Drawbacks: If you plan to stay in Yokohama but travel to Tokyo, reconsider, as it takes 6 stops on the Minatomirai Line to reach Yokohama Station and about an hour to get to central Tokyo.
Although the room was compact, it was clean, had a great view, and was comfortable. The building was new and the air conditioning was powerful. They had tried out a number of innovative ideas, such as using a copy machine at check-in, and I was able to experience a modern business hotel. The breakfast buffet also had different items each day, so I never got bored.
Parking in the hotel is convenient, with a 3-story parking building. Check-in was quick, and the room was clean and comfortable. Details touch people's hearts. A three-star hotel surprises people with details other than accommodation. Everywhere you touch and wherever you look, customers will make unexpected discoveries, which is a great experience!
Really good! There are shops right downstairs, and the subway is next door. My room didn't have a bathtub; you have to go to the communal hot springs for that. The room was spacious, had all the amenities you could ask for, and it was still very quiet.
The location is great, within walking distance with good view of the station. Basic toiletries and complimentary items can be slightly lacking; you need to remember to take from the lobby communal counter. However, I was pleasantly surprised that they provide facial care sample packs as part of the amenities. Room is more spacious than expected, which is a bonus. Wireless internet is intermittent which may cause confusion. Overall good experience.

Amazing
Fufu Hakone is really good. When you arrive at Gora Station, contact the hotel and they will send a special car to pick you up. The hotel has Chinese-speaking staff. I met staff who spoke Cantonese and Mandarin. The service attitude was very good. The single-occupancy room was clean and the hot spring was comfortable. The two meals were of good quality and large portions. I want to try FuFu in other places in the future (P.S. Why does the name of FuFu Hakone on Ctrip keep changing, and it becomes more and more weird? Shouldn't it be called Fufu? Later it became Fufu, and now it is Fuqi. What's going on?)
Staff are very attentive and warm. Complimentary lounge is wonderful. Room is spacious and practical. Enjoyed the hot spring facilities. Thank you for the memorable stay.
