WanderlustfoodieGreat location, just 1min walk away from Toyama Station on level 5 of the Maroot building . It’s a perfect base to move around the Tateyama region. The room is on the small side but adequate and well furnished. For tourists who need the iron & ironing board, there are 2 sets per floor that you can use. This is a lifesaver. I’ve had to deal with the trousers presser only at certain hotels, much to my dismay. This was a nice change.

Ma-iiiI was so lucky booking this hotel in such a low price compared to the quality and the brand reputation of JAL. The lobby and the room is so spacious and divided to each zone. The restroom is not a Japanese Bathroom Pod like other hotel.
P.S. One of the front desk man is so handsome. I was way too shy to checkin with him LOL

ShujiayiExcellent! This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The breakfast was plentiful with many local Toyama specialties. Our room had a great view and all the essential amenities. The front desk staff provided excellent service, even giving us a tram ticket and discount vouchers for two art museums. It's super close to the station, just a 3-minute walk, and there's a Lawson convenience store right across the street or behind the hotel.

Guest UserI had a truly memorable stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind throughout my visit. The overall atmosphere gave off a wonderfully authentic Japanese vibe, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was the delicious traditional Japanese breakfast — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. What impressed me most was how the hotel made me feel so comfortable and welcome, almost like I was staying at a relative’s home in Japan. It’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend, and I would love to return again in the future.

Arm KantaweeBefore trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully).
For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine.
For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.

terrence 2025Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel's location isn't the most convenient, as it requires a tram connection to Toyama Station, but its excellent value for money more than makes up for it. Over the three days, we made good use of the Hokuriku JR Pass to visit many places, such as Toyama Castle, Takaoka, Amaharashi, Mikuni, Fukui, and the Kurobe Gorge Railway. Highly recommend this hotel!

Guest UserEvery time I visit Toyama, I choose this hotel for its convenience, surrounding area, and brand reputation. The rooms are a bit small, but the breakfast is excellent, and its location right in front of the station makes getting around incredibly easy, especially when using the Shinkansen. You can also see the Tateyama Mountain Range, a symbol of Toyama, not far from the hotel entrance. I highly recommend this hotel.
