I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is so comfortable and bigger as compared to hotels in Tokyo. The staff are friendly and will answer any questions you have. The breakfast area have a magnificent view. I will definitely come back here to stay again. Thank you Toyama Excel Hotel Tokyu!

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Toyama Station. While the room wasn't huge, it had everything I needed. My favorite parts were definitely the generous breakfast and the complimentary Toyama mountain spring water available on each floor – it tasted sweet and made for a memorable experience.

I stayed here for one night this time. It seems to have been recently renovated, as the entire hotel felt new and clean, making for a very pleasant stay. There's parking on the first floor, which is super convenient if you're traveling by car. It's a bit far from the nearest station, but on the flip side, the surrounding area is quiet and feels spacious and comfortable. It's also relatively close to several tourist spots, so I think it's a good base for sightseeing. The staff were all polite and helpful, making my stay stress-free. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

I've always been a big fan of Dormy Inn, and this was my first time trying their premium series. Beyond the all-tatami flooring throughout the building and the cypress *onsen* bath directly in the room, it wasn't vastly different from a standard Dormy Inn. In fact, the room was quite small. I actually quite liked the minimal room service – they only needed to provide fresh towels. After all, once my luggage was open, there was barely any room to stand. The hotel is a bit far from Toyama Station. While this isn't a major issue for those driving, there aren't many dining options nearby, so you'll still need to head to the station area for food. The Glass Art Museum, on the other hand, is very close and definitely worth a visit, especially since the tickets are super affordable. And the breakfast, as usual, was absolutely superb!

This hotel is in an excellent location, right next to Toyama Station in a shopping mall. The front desk is conveniently located on the fifth floor, accessible by elevator. We booked a twin room, which was quite spacious, and the facilities were very new. I really liked the abundance of power outlets, and we even had a view of the snow-capped mountains. I was pleasantly surprised to find sushi at breakfast – the quality was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the yellowtail sushi and the Toyama pudding.

I stayed for 4 nights in Toyama, and overall, this hotel had the largest room and offered the best value for money. It's just a 3-4 minute walk from Toyama Station, and you can see the hotel as soon as you exit. The room was very spacious for our family of three, and it even came with capsule coffee and snacks. The mini-bar drinks were also replenished daily. There's a large supermarket directly across from the hotel (mostly cosmetics/pharmacy items). Several restaurants recommended by Google Maps were also within walking distance, which was incredibly convenient. Breakfast was decent but didn't vary much over the days. All in all, it's a really excellent hotel, highly recommended.

The hotel is really close to the station, right between the North and South exits. When you come out, head right towards the M shopping mall. Walk a few steps along the side of the mall, and you'll find the hotel diagonally opposite the Toyota car rental. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a 24-hour drink bar. The hot water for the coffee machine is at the very bottom, indicated by a red button. Just across the street, in the mall, there's that delicious sushi restaurant with self-service ordering – it's fresh and tasty!

Five-star rating all around! I was a bit worried the 2019 renovation might feel old, but it absolutely doesn't – everything feels very new. They offer a pick-up service from the train station, or it's just a 300m walk. Inside the hotel, there are English-speaking staff, making communication a breeze. The buffet dinner was also good. There aren't many dining options on the hot spring street; besides one BBQ place, it's mostly set menus and ramen, so the hotel buffet is a better choice. For lunch, I recommend the cafe by the entrance; both the cakes and drinks were delicious. Since we visited in winter, we didn't book the scenic train, but we did go to the ski resort, which was perfect for kids. The foot bath next to the train station was super hot and incredibly relaxing. This is a great place to stay for two nights.

This hotel is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Toyama Station. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which was a huge plus. But the real highlight was the breakfast – amazing value for money, and they even had sashimi! Plus, there's a famous sushi restaurant right downstairs.

This hotel offered the best value for money during this trip. It's not far from Toyama Station. It's a five- or six-minute walk from the North Exit, and there's a 7-Eleven diagonally opposite. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Kansui Park, and you can also visit the museum there. Even going to the City Hall for the night view is only about a ten-minute walk. Take the tram from the North Exit of Toyama Station to Nishimachi; the glass museum is right there.
