Spacious, clean and affordable accommodation in an excellent location with access to shopping malls and MRT. Comfy bed and sofa. Also like the surrounding greenery and quiet areas. This is my 4th time staying here as it is not far from Subang airport. Improvements: signs of ”aging” (furniture, toilet fixtures, etc) in this otherwise charming hotel (there is a newer ”the Curve” hotel under the same hotel chain nearby). A box of tissue should be provided, and having USB outlets will be great. Highly recommended nevertheless.

I stayed here during a layover to decompress from my upcoming travels, recharge, and get some good rest. Let me share my experience with this hotel, which was my second stay.
1. The hotel's exterior looks quite old, but the interior is very nice. The lobby, in particular, is comfortable, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.
2. Check-in is self-service via a machine, which is very convenient! You just need to enter the last five digits of your booking number to check in. The room key card is dispensed directly by the machine. I should mention that before you get the key card, you'll need to pay RM5, which they call a cleaning fee. Honestly, I find it a bit baffling, and I'll elaborate on that later.
3. There aren't many dining options nearby, so you'll need to order food via Foodpanda or GrabFood. Delivery drivers aren't allowed upstairs; they'll leave your order on a table downstairs, and you just go pick it up.
4. The airport isn't far. A Grab ride costs around RM30, which has been consistent both times I've taken it, so the price shouldn't fluctuate much.
5. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as these are not provided here.
6. Bottled water isn't provided in the room, but instant coffee is. There's a Coway water dispenser on each floor in the central hallway, offering both hot and cold water. You can use the kettle from your room to refill, which is quite convenient.
7. There's a smoking area on every floor, located next to the laundry room. If you need to smoke, do it there, as smoking in the room or triggering the alarm will incur a hefty fine.
8. The self-service laundry room is very convenient, but you'll need to buy your own laundry detergent or have it delivered via Grab, as it's not provided here.
P.S. (Circling back to that cleaning fee) I paid it every day for my daily bookings, but no one ever cleaned my room! Even when I put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, no one came. I even called the front desk to arrange for cleaning, and they told me to take out the trash myself! I was dumbfounded! I stayed for a week straight, paying RM5 every day. I just let it go, but I really suggest they revise their policy, as foreigners might find it quite off-putting.
1 night stay only. Checked in 12.15 am. Smooth check in process. Thanks to Staff Maxidonna. I had a restful night.
Spacious room with minimalist touch. Im surely return.
** Parking cost RM 3 per entry.
**Selangor tax RM 7 per stay
**Room No 707
This was my second time staying here, and this visit was especially memorable as I had just gotten married and our wedding venue was nearby. We had a very pleasant stay and a wonderful experience overall. We will definitely be coming back again soon.
Moreover, the location is very convenient — it’s within walking distance to McDonald’s and the mall, making it easy to find food and enjoy some window shopping

Traveling to Malaysia or having an overnight layover? Ditch those hard airport benches! Let me share my experience at Sama-Sama Hotel, the only 5-star airport hotel at KLIA T1.
✈️ If you're arriving on an international flight (at KLIA Terminal 1), whether you need a good rest after a long journey or have an early flight the next day, this hotel is definitely your top choice.
🚗 How to get from Arrivals to the Hotel?
(Includes shuttle service guide)
Please do not attempt to walk with heavy luggage; it's quite a distance (approx. 500 meters).
🛬 Arrive at Level 2: After clearing immigration and collecting your baggage, take the elevator to Level 2.
📍 Find the Buggy Station: Look for signs pointing to 'Sama-Sama Hotel.' The shuttle station is directly opposite the Food Garden.
🚗 Call a Shuttle: There's a dedicated 24-hour free buggy service. Just wait a moment (or press the call button), and a uniformed staff member will drive you and your luggage via an indoor skybridge directly to the hotel lobby in just 3 minutes.
🍳 A 'Food City' Level Breakfast that Amazes the Taste Buds
The hotel's Continents restaurant offers 24-hour service, and its breakfast is renowned.
🥘 A Fusion of Global Flavors: Malaysian dishes (the Nasi Lemak is a must-try!), Chinese dim sum and hot congee, authentic Indian curry with Roti Canai, Thai Tom Yum, and a full Western breakfast spread.
🍰 Dessert Paradise: A wide variety of Western cakes, freshly baked bread, and colorful Nyonya pastries, all visually stunning.
🏨 Hotel Facilities and History
Although the hotel opened in 1998 (formerly Pan Pacific), it underwent extensive renovations when it rebranded as Sama-Sama in 2013. It's incredibly well-maintained and exudes a 5-star quality.
✨ Room Types: Offers 442 rooms, including Deluxe, Premier, and more luxurious Suites. The rooms feature double-glazed windows for excellent soundproofing, and some even offer views of the tarmac.
🏊♀️ Swimming Pool and Gym: The outdoor tropical garden pool on the 1st floor has a fantastic ambiance, and the 24-hour gym is fully equipped.
💆 Sari Kayangan Spa: Provides professional Malay massage services, perfect for relieving flight fatigue.
🍸 Traveller’s Bar & Grill: Features live band performances in the evening, offering steaks and various cocktails in a wonderful atmosphere.
✨ As a national airport hotel, it frequently hosts dignitaries, sports stars (like F1 drivers), and VVIPs attending international conferences.
💡 How to choose a transit hotel❓
✅ Sama-Sama has two properties at KLIA T1; choose based on your needs:
1️⃣ Sama-Sama Express (airside/near Gate C5): No immigration required, suitable for short transits of up to 6 hours, charged hourly, and more affordable.
2️⃣ Sama-Sama Hotel (landside/this review's focus): Requires immigration clearance into Malaysia. Highly recommended for stays longer than 6 hours! Offers larger spaces, more comfortable bedding, and a full range of facilities.👍
Check in facility was smooth, friendly front desk and manager helpful. we are family of 5 ( 2 rooms) and it was accomodating and great stay for 4 days 3 nights as my parents were staying nearby, and we are back to celebrate CNY. The beach pool maybe can have a bit improvement as its a bit dirty ( a bit dissapointment for my kids) but hotel rooms were very clean and daily cleaned up well. Kudos to the housekeeping team for keeping my housekey i realised i lost it after 3 days checking out and my parents went back to the lobby and got it back. Thankful to them. Its a great place to stay. rooms were quiet no odour and free mineral bottle water and coffee tea. clean towels, good bed.
There's a playground downstairs and a mall nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and the area is quite bustling. No deposit was needed, just a few Malaysian Ringgit for tax. Check-in was very smooth. It was an excellent experience.

Location is so good with a sheltered link way to the big shopping mall & MRT Station! Staffs are friendly & helpful. Check in & out are so smooth. Love the separated bathroom & toilet settings too. We enjoyed our stay so much, will come back again!
Service was excellent!! Even though I was there way before check in time.. they expedite hotel room readiness and even msg me once room is available... Walking distance to I-City mall..
Surprise with earlier check in!
Service up to standard, at least able to handle simple question like location, explain to how go swimming pool.
Attentive with my lost expression.- helpful
Small incident
Day 1, for room cleaning- did not clean the two cups
Day 2, water bottle - I broken the open (like canned opener), they replaced it with plastic mineral bottle
Small sofa, materials seems not recommended- causing itchy skin.. not sure due to.. me or the sofa materials or the hygiene.
Aircond seems quite cool.. luckily is adjustable.
Refurbish at the acceptable level. Overall feel moderate not antique.
Walking to shopping mall is the best for choosing the place.
Good sound proof too.

吉吉意We've an interconnecting room which is spacious and comfy. The location is excellent, offering easy access to the surrounding areas of Klang and just a short drive to ICity. The breakfast selection is varied, but the taste is mediocre. Aeon Mall is just across the street, a few minutes walk away, which is great.
GGuest UserDelightful and enjoying moment with all new in hotel. Best cleanliness ever i ever see with the budget price. Unexpected the 3day 2 night was treated like 5 stars hotel. Will come again next time.

GGuest UserThe shower / shampoo / conditioner dispensers were such a failure, room 910, and no shaver kit was in place. toilet door due to water from shower area splashing unto it , had mold forming at the bottom back end, rotting away in near future. Light switches were a little confusing, but the USB plug in sockets were such a joy to use. Breakfast was okay, pool level and gym level not the same, hence not as user-friendly as I tot (coming from experience at Danang Hilton). Lion dance at lobby was a bonus for guest and visitors. Generally a worth while stay, just please check out the dispensers if it is your concern, if deem pathetic then better change room. Chef came over to present a dessert made in-house using tomato and it was sublime indeed, simple yet full of favour.
JJastanGreat option for a quick, one-night stay if you're in transit. The hotel offers free airport transfer, making it very convenient, and it’s just a 15-minute drive from the airport. The location is ideal, and the free breakfast includes roti canai, which was a nice local touch. Perfect for a short, hassle-free stay before catching your next flight!
GGuest UserBad experience with Fox Lite Hotel. Please supervise your house keeper!! The bathroom is too dirty and smelly. The bedroom also had a bad odour. We paid RM 168 for this dirty room???? Seems like a low budget hotel.👎🏻
GGuest UserService was excellent!! Even though I was there way before check in time.. they expedite hotel room readiness and even msg me once room is available... Walking distance to I-City mall..

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at this hotel, and I highly recommend it. The hotel's ambiance and location are excellent, right next to an amusement park and a large shopping mall. It's also conveniently located about a 30-minute drive from the airport. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a gym, swimming pool, and restaurants. Our room was clean, tidy, and spacious. The hotel lobby is grand, and they offer a seated check-in service, which allowed us to check in early. The breakfast is extensive and shared with the Pyramid Hotel. It's a perfect spot for leisure and vacations. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Tune Hotel KLIA and had a mixed experience.
Starting with the downsides, the lift lighting was quite dim, making it difficult to clearly see and identify the buttons, especially at night. The air conditioning in the room was also not cold enough, which made the space feel stuffy at times. There was a noticeable mouldy smell in the room that affected overall comfort, and the room itself looked rather dated—definitely feels like it’s due for some renovation and upgrading.
On a more positive note, the hotel does offer some nice perks. Complimentary refreshments were a pleasant touch, and the free morning-hour shuttle bus service to KLIA1 was very convenient and helped make airport transfers hassle-free.
Overall, while the location and added conveniences are great, improvements in maintenance, air conditioning, and general room condition would make a big difference to the guest experience.
