NNari.I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Uhland during my visit to Windhoek. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet it is close enough to the city center to reach the main attractions and restaurants within a short drive or walk. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and reliable Wi-Fi. Although the furnishings are somewhat traditional, everything was well maintained and functional. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep every night.
One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with transportation, local recommendations, or any questions I had. Their hospitality made me feel at home from the moment I arrived.
Breakfast was another enjoyable part of the experience. The buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, local specialties, and coffee, providing a satisfying start to each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s beautiful garden and outdoor swimming pool, which created a relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, Hotel Uhland offers excellent value for money. It may not be a luxury hotel, but its cleanliness, friendly service, convenient location, and comfortable facilities make it an ideal choice for travelers visiting Windhoek. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and affordable place to stay in Namibia.
NNari.I had a wonderful stay at Tilla’s Guesthouse in Windhoek. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality and friendly attitude. The check-in process was quick and smooth, allowing me to settle into my room without any hassle.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. I also appreciated the secure parking area and the peaceful atmosphere, which made me feel safe throughout my visit.
Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and offered a nice variety of options. It was a great way to start each day before exploring Windhoek. The staff were always happy to help with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and any questions I had, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short drive of the city center, shopping areas, and several restaurants, making it an excellent base for both business travelers and tourists. Despite being close to the city, the property has a calm and relaxing environment that feels like a home away from home.
Overall, Tilla’s Guesthouse offers excellent value for money with comfortable accommodation, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Namibia and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, safe, and affordable place to stay in Windhoek.
GGuest UserThe property was so beautiful! My husband and I really loved the amenities and location of the hotel, BUT we were not treated very nice by quite a few hotel staff. We observed on multiple occasions white or colored guests being treated with A+ service while we were treated with C+ service. When we first arrived, we went to the rooftop and were ignored by 2 attendants at the bar. When we did get service, it was mediocre and almost as if we were doing the hotel a favor by being there. Other than those unfortunate instances, we enjoyed our stay.
GGuest UserOur hotel check-in experience was quite messy. We booked a room at Mercure, but upon arrival, we were directed to the adjacent Mövenpick for check-in. After waiting for half an hour, we were assigned a room, only to find it was a twin room. We went back to request a change, waited another half an hour, and were told there were no king-size beds available. Eventually, we were moved back to the Mercure. Apparently, other colleagues who also booked king-size rooms at Mercure initially received twin rooms as well.
The breakfast arrangements were also unclear. For the first couple of days, we were told to go to Mövenpick for breakfast, but then a few days later, we were instructed to go back to Mercure.
EELENA_I.I was pleased with our stay at Arebbusch Travel Lodge! It offers a calm, safe atmosphere in a convenient spot—with a petrol station, SPAR nearby, and a large shopping centre just minutes away by car. Perfect for comfort, safety, and practicality!
EELENA_I.This Hilton is just like all the other Hiltons— clean, comfy, and tidy all around. Friendly staff made everything smooth, and the location was nice, right near all the main sights, shops, and more.
We grabbed burgers at the downstairs restaurant— it was really tasty and with good service! I recommend for a hassle-free stay.
GGuest UserFelt very welcome, room was spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful , breakfast was great- loved juice bar! The only thing I didn’t like was that room was too dark. No proper lights in room itself apart lamps , ceiling lights just entry of room, made it way too dark in night to pack bag. Also pool looks sweet but its kinda in restaurant so unfortunately I booked hotel as was hoping to use pool in afternoon- but since people were dressed up for drinks and dinner I did not felt comfortable.
GGuest UserMy stay at Safari Court Hotel Managed by Accor was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel's elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
RRobert PateliusStandard facility. Great location. Near to the international airport road. Breakfast was disappointing. Not advisable to include breakfast when booking. Otherwise, all other facilities were okay.
RRedoineFavorite hotel in Windhoek, the rooms are out of this world and the place feels totally out of this world. Amazing breakfast too. One of my favorite hotels I've stayed out, 10/10
