A great choice for an overnight stay in Zurich! Just one tram stop from Zurich main station. The hotel offers complimentary still or sparkling water in the lobby, and a kettle is available for hot water. The room design is quite creative, with a curtain separating the bathroom and sleeping area. As is common with many European hotels, there was no air conditioning during our stay

Hands down, this is a very lovely hotel and is the most glittering gem in Zürich
The place is…..
- located in a vantage point that is close to everything
- nice and comfortable that puts it on the pedestal in the same league;
- squeaky clean and spick and span;
- very comfortable bed that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack;
- quiet and reclusive, and conveniences are a stone's throw away;
- Facilities just as described
Simply the best accommodation!
Room was nice and a lot more spacious than expected. I had booked for a single person, so not sure why the sofa bed was made, so couldn't really sit on the sofa during my stay.
Bathroom and toilet were clean and well maintained.
I booked this one specifically because of the gym. It was disappointing to find that the cable machine had no attachments other than a bar. It's ok if you like to use free weights, but think that could be improved.

The air conditioning was very strong and effective. The central train station is quite accessible, just a 10-minute tram ride away, or a two-stop tram journey followed by one train transfer. European standard power outlets are provided, which is convenient if you have the right adapter. The cleanliness was also very good.
As the name suggests the hotel is Central to many food options, Zurich HB (200m) and shopping.
We loved the stroll around the city at night and liked that there was a supermarket just across the road.
We stayed in both a Junior Suite and Double Bedroom as we had to extend our stay. Junior Suite is extremely spacious with a full lounge and desk separate from the bedroom. The look of the rooms are a bit dated but clean and well maintained.
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful which made our stay delightful.

Information about late check-in was sent in advance by email. Everything was described very well. Rooms were very nice and clean. Breakfast was booked at short notice at reception. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was served in a small breakfast room. I would book it again and again.
free parking
I would love to come back

A very easily accessible and comfortable hotel. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the check in was an easy experience. The rooms look new and are decent in size with clean bathrooms. There’s a big supermarket closeby.

Very good location, just 10min walk to the airport. Many shopping and dining choices around. Room spacious and new, lobby area has a very fashionable modern feel. A little tricky to get there by taxi though, best to set Hyatt Regency as destination and then take a short walk to Hyatt Place

Service: I called the front desk because they didn't have a wine opener, but they told me to look in the minibar, said ”Thank you,” and hung up. (There was only water in the fridge.)
I called the front desk again, but they didn't answer, so I went downstairs. The employee who answered the phone was just standing there blankly in front of a computer. I asked again if they had one, and they asked if there was one in the minibar. They gave me a bottle opener. I told them I wanted one, and only then did they say they didn't have one.
I asked again if they had one, and they told me to go to the bar to borrow one.
At Mama Shelter Zurich, you have to find your own services!!
They don't even have things like an electric kettle, coffee, tea, or cups, which are typical of 4-star hotels! (They'll probably provide them if you ask, right?)
Other hotels offer double rooms with a single mattress, but this one has two twin beds pressed together. Please note.
The location is great, right in front of the station, and it's a new hotel, so it's clean. But the service makes me want to stay here again. ^^
(The air conditioning didn't work very well!)

the place was sooo aethetic!! got welcome drinks for our honeymoon and the best part was everything in the bar is free (unlike other hotels that charged snack and drinks in the mini bar). also super thankful to the reception staff for helping us get tickets to Lindt Chocolate Factory for the next day without additional fees! It was fully booked for 2 weeks!

2288044****I arrived quite late and had only planned to use this as an overnight transit hotel before heading into the city the next day, but it truly exceeded my expectations.
The shuttle service is incredibly convenient. You can easily find the designated stops for all hotel shuttles by following the airport signs, and departure times are clearly displayed. The shuttle typically arrives about 5 minutes before its scheduled departure and leaves promptly. No worries if you miss one, as there's a shuttle every 20 minutes.
The hotel lobby was grand, clean, and impressive, with excellent service. Seeing so many airline crew members, it's clearly a partner hotel for airlines.
The room was a comfortable size and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Complimentary disposable toiletries and slippers can be requested from the front desk.
It gets dark quite late in Zurich, and even at 9 PM, guests were still enjoying coffee and chatting at the outdoor tables, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
AauntwangA standard chain hotel with rich breakfast, in line with the usual standards of Holliday Inn, warm service, large enough room, clean and tidy linens, moderately soft and hard beds, no odor in the bathroom, although the room has been renovated for a long time, the facilities are well maintained and the comfort is good.
I stayed in this hotel in 2011. Although it is a bit far from the city, the surrounding facilities are very modern. There is a main road in front of the door, which feels like living in a development zone. When I stayed this time, the road was being repaired in front of the hotel, and the surrounding environment felt rather shabby, like living in a construction site dormitory.
There is bus No. 11, which can go directly to the city center 200m away from the hotel. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You can buy a day ticket for Zone 1 on the machine at the bus station (the round-trip fare is the same as the day ticket), and you can get a bus map at the front desk, which is convenient for travel.
The hotel parking fee is CHF24/day, probably because the hotel occupancy rate is not very high, there are many empty parking spaces, and parking is very convenient.

GGuest Usersuch a convenient and surprisingly cozy option to stay near airport! I actually didn't spend a night and just needed to kill 10 hours at the airport and this became very handy. Glad to book this capsule hotel instead of keeping my luggages at 80% of its one-night stay cost at the airport. The staffs didn't feel very welcoming especially when you arrive early and had to ask them a favor to open the luggage room but cannot complain at this price. Would definitely come back
11332805****Excellent rooms and a fantastic overall ambiance. The lobby boasts a stylish, artistic design. The location is very convenient, especially being close to the airport. Breakfast was also excellent.
AAnonymous UserOur room was spacious and comfortable, elegantly decorated and equipped with modern facilities. The magnificent mountain view outside the window was a pleasure to wake up every morning. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a good sleep quality.
HHarmonickFine for a business traveler. For couples...eh. Walls are pretty thin as stated. The ”lounge” is just a room on the 9th floor with a TV and some games. There's no deadbolt on the door. That being said, the sunrise corner room gets unbeatable views!
Also, classic European bathroom where water just gets... everywhere when showering. So it's solid for a night in Zurich but not sure I could recommend it for a week of travel or if you're looking for something romantic.
GGuest UserHotel room was clean and modern.
Customer service needs a lot of improvement, particularly a receptionist called Natasha.
After collecting our luggages from the storage, I proceeded to asked her for the hotel room key as we have yet to check in. She then said ”she wouldn't know anything as I did not provide any details to her”. As a front desk staff, I would think it is part of your responsibility to maybe ask?
On another occasion, I asked her if it was okay to get something delivered to the hotel tomorrow as I forgot something and needed it urgently. Her respond was ”Isn't it too late now that I ask her?” The look on her face was a look of annoyance.
I told her I could cancel it if it wasn't allowed. Eventually, my item was not delivered as she probably did not cascade the information to the staff on duty the next day.
Would appreciate if she could respond nicely, especially when you're in the service line.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with racism?? I've observed that she was very friendly and accomodate a guest of a different race whom asked her for a favour.
If you'd like consistently good service, I'd suggest put your money elsewhere. The accomodation doesn't come cheap as well.
GGuest UserUpon check-in, they pre-authorized my card for the deposit, assuring me it was just a hold. However, my bank statement shows it was a full charge. The next day, at check-out, I was informed the deposit would be refunded after deducting the city tax. It's been 10 days, and I still haven't received the refund.
Two different front desk staff quoted different parking fees. Does this mean the parking fee is arbitrarily determined by them?
The room was incredibly small, almost the size of a typical Japanese hotel room.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but apart from the fried eggs, everything else felt uninspired. It couldn't even compare to a small town B&B and certainly didn't justify the 'Crown' brand name or its price.
