GGuest UserFriendly staff the only bad thing I can mention got nothing to do with the hotel but is the taxi drivers who wait outside in front of the street at the hotel. If you use the otaxi app they will respond and tell you you have to pay double price. You better of renting a car or book a taxi with the otaxi app from a location nearby.

GGuest UserI was on a business trip and booked a one-living room and two-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and balcony, which was pretty good, but there was only one bathroom. The hotel is integrated with a shopping mall, which is the second largest shopping mall in Salalah. There is a good restaurant with Arabic and Indian food. There are more European and American tourists staying here, but the breakfast is more localized and average, but fortunately there is Indian milk tea to make up for it.

NNola AisbergI actually stayed in Juweira hotel (adults only), because Rotana was overbooked. I'm glad that I stay in Juweira - it was calm, clean, food was good without waiting lines. Special thanks to Ann - Rotana's manager, very professional, who helped me with Juweira booking and introducing these hotels area.
I had breakfast and lunches in Rotana- It was good, good choice and good food. Hope to come back one day:)

GGuest UserThe location is slightly far from the town but it's just right beside the beach, if beach and ocean are your priority. Topnotch hospitality, especially staff from the restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, and we also ordered room service for dinner, which was equally good. Access to the aqua park was convenient with hourly shuttle bus. The aqua park itself is not huge, for adults, not much thrilling activities available and 1 hour is more than sufficient. Our room comes with jacuzzi but sea view has been blocked by the coconut tree right in front of the balcony. Request for upper floors if you prefer greater views.

Overall impression:
The hotel was overall less than expected compared to the pictures, which look nicer than the reality.
Room:
Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Service:
Service was correct and professional, without being particularly notable.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was basic for a 4-star hotel. Instant coffee was served in the morning. When ordering coffee separately, Arabic coffee was served, which was not to my taste and was charged extra.
Location:
Hotel is centrally located, but taxis are still needed to move around.
Overall:
An acceptable stay for a first visit to Salalah, but expectations should be set accordingly.

SSafina YaqubBrilliant, they say there’s no place like home. This was more than home , it was my home away from home. Adeeb was excellent at the service he provided, fantastic customer service and excellent communication throughout. Nacim shouldn’t have been there but was an honour meeting such individuals who provided nothing but exceptional, outstanding hospitality , respectful service and run the business / shift with excellent customer service care and support.
Will definitely recommend this hotel, an extraordinary team and overall 10/10 for customer service care, support , security and fantastic hospitality, facilities and communication throughout my stay. Worth the journey.

PPal VirdeeAl Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants.
The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste.
The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

OOlga1985VoronThe hotel is located an hour away from the airport. It is located in the distance of everything, i.e. to get out of the territory nowhere. The rooms are located in the main building and in separate standing houses. Unfortunately, when we were inhabited in the five-star hotel room, there was no shoe, no dressing room, no accessories. They were brought only after the request.
Food is quite uniform and scarce. For food, a queue is lined. Staff is not able to clean tables for visitors , drinks are easier to take by themselves than wait for them to be brought. Drinks are served only in a strictly devoted time from 12 to 15 in a bar at the pool and from 12 to 18 on Fridays. In a cafe in the lobby everything is paid. At the same time, exchange of money on the resepshne counter is impossible , you need to go to a shop where you must buy something.
The beach is a little far away - you can get to the baggage or walk. Sometimes there are not enough lying on the beach.
No animation, only Italian for Italians. For Italians a separate restaurant.
Staff friendly, on the counter the resepshin speak Russian.
Overall , staying in the hotel is quite comfortable. White sand and lasurious sea smoothed out the shortcomings.

CChristoffer Alf EdwardVery friendly staff that gave us an upgrade without cost, and helped us with all our inquiries. We got help to rent a car, the food tasted good. There's a Tivoli right next door which had fun rides, market, and great tasting food. The location is perfect for Salalah, close to the airport and city. The resort has a couple of years on its neck and could benefit with renewed furniture. The room was cleaned meticulously each day with new towels etc, all in all a very good experience and would recommend it.
