1. **Location:** The location is absolutely superb, right in the prime spot of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. It offers a tranquil escape amidst the hustle and bustle, making it incredibly convenient for daily outings, shopping, and dining. It's also very close to Ba Shi Seafood Market and the pier, making travel a breeze. There's even an underground parking lot available. 2. **Decor Style:** The B&B is quite new. While its exterior showcases Xiamen Zhongshan Road's typical arcade (Qilou) architecture, the interior boasts a charming Nanyang retro style, which I personally loved. 3. **Service:** The staff were all incredibly helpful and attentive. Here are two examples: First, on our initial night, my daughter likely set the AC too low, resulting in a low fever, headache, and chills in the early hours. I asked if they could prepare a traditional remedy: a warm drink with scallion whites, ginger, and red dates. To my surprise, they actually prepared it exactly as I requested! After she drank it, she broke a sweat, and her fever quickly receded. We almost thought our vacation was going to be cut short! The second incident occurred on the morning of our departure: my daughter left her bracelet on the breakfast table. We only realized it after we had already left, so we went back and asked the front desk for assistance. They managed to find it for us. The staff's service was truly exceptional; they were responsive to every request and always went the extra mile. 4. **Breakfast:** While the B&B's breakfast might not compete with a large star-rated hotel, it's generally quite good and offers a decent spread. They cover all the bases, providing a variety of options like Mianxian paste (vermicelli soup), sweet potato porridge, mung bean soup, white fungus soup, soy milk, milk, bread, stir-fried dishes, fried snacks, steamed dim sum, eggs, assorted grains, and fresh fruits. For children, those under 1.2m eat for free, those between 1.2m and 1.4m get half price, and children 1.4m and taller pay full price. 5. The hotel corridors feature unique devices holding tea leaves. I'm not sure if their purpose is mosquito repellent, but it's the first time I've ever encountered such a thing. It struck me as a distinctive local touch, and a rather thoughtful one at that. **PS:** For this B&B, I highly recommend choosing a room with either a terrace or an external balcony. Many rooms have balconies that face an internal atrium or courtyard, which isn't as appealing. I personally saw the difference and decided to upgrade my room on the spot.

We were so glad we chose this guesthouse! The entire check-in process was incredibly smooth and made us feel instantly at ease. **Regarding the environment:** The place itself was immaculately clean and tidy, boasting a modern decor. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a fantastic night's sleep. **As for the service:** The front desk staff were excellent! They proactively sent detailed check-in instructions which were incredibly practical and helpful. Whenever we had questions, their responses were always prompt. They even paid attention to small details, like noticing we'd bought water and then kindly providing us with extra bottles. **Location-wise:** It's perfectly situated right next to the famous Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making exploration incredibly convenient. **In summary:** This was an absolutely flawless experience! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting, and we will definitely be looking to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

When planning my trip to Xiamen, I started my hotel search. After much back-and-forth comparison of many options, I finally settled on Weishang. The cleanliness and overall environment were top-notch. The front desk service was also excellent; when we checked out, one of the staff members even helped us carry our luggage downstairs and load it into our car. What's more, the location offers excellent transport links. Zhongshan Road is right downstairs, and it's very close to Zhonghua City and Tiger City. The bus and metro stations are also not far, just about a 10-minute walk away.

Convenient location to main shopping areas and food. The hotel staff is generous and flexible (gave us a carton of water and allowed us to check out late). He even booked DiDi cabs for us on his account and let us reimburse him upon our return. Very helpful. The only downside is, the location is off the main street and can be hard to locate. The taxi will have to drop you off on roadside and you’ll have to bring your luggage in theu narrow streets to get to the place. No lifts either

The room was spotless, and what really impressed me was how comfortable the mattress was. No matter how tired I was from exploring all day, one night's sleep completely recharged me. The room was also cleaned perfectly every day, and they even thoughtfully provided disposable toilet seat covers! That was a really nice surprise! My only regret is not bringing my own tea set, so I could have enjoyed tea in the tea room! So, if you're planning to stay, I recommend bringing your own tea set! Buy some local Tie Guan Yin or Oolong tea to try, it's a great space. The only downside was that it was a bit warm, I'm not sure if the air conditioning wasn't on!

I heard this was a guesthouse once frequented by Yu Dafu, which gives it special historical significance. The hotel itself is small and exquisite, but the room height is excellent, with high ceilings. Coupled with the three classical windows in the street-view room, it creates a well-ventilated and comfortable feeling. The natural light during the day is fantastic, which I was very pleased with. There was even a collection of Yu Dafu's poems in the room. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff did a meticulous job every day, replenishing water, toothpaste, and towels, and even helping to close the windows. Environment: Located in the prime area of Zhongshan Road, it's incredibly convenient for getting around – perfect for those who don't want to travel far. The street view is beautiful; you get to experience the same spot transform from bustling during the day to peaceful in the early morning. While exploring the neighborhood, I definitely felt this hotel was the most beautiful and refined in the vicinity.

The guesthouse truly boasts an antique charm. Though it's a renovated old house, it's full of character and韵味. Anyone who appreciates traditional aesthetics will absolutely love it – I certainly did! The facilities were decent. The bedding, air conditioning, and bathroom water heater all worked perfectly. The only minor point was that the floorboards had a slight creak when walking, but it didn't really bother me. The location was fantastic for exploring. I had worried that staying within the scenic area might be inconvenient, but it wasn't at all. Right outside, there's plenty to see and explore, and an evening stroll by the river with a gentle breeze was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The only slight drawback, likely due to it being an older building, was that the soundproofing wasn't ideal. I could clearly hear people walking and talking outside. However, this generally wasn't an issue after midnight. The absolute highlight was the guesthouse owner's truly exceptional service! They kindly helped me receive a package that was delivered there and proactively assisted us with our luggage during both check-in and check-out. What's more, when it was raining upon our departure, they even offered us an umbrella – so thoughtful! Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the guesthouse's interior. The ones I've included were all taken from outside, just for your reference!

First off, the hotel facilities are brand new and beautifully preserve the traditional features of an ancient Minnan-style house, while integrating modern living habits, especially in the bathrooms. The hygiene is excellent, with plenty of hot water. The entire room is very clean and thoughtfully designed, boasting amenities on par with a four or five-star hotel. The bedding is also very comfortable, and the service standards are exceptionally high. Secondly, the location is incredibly convenient. It's close to Zhongshan Road yet tucked away from the crowds, making it very quiet. Because it adapts to the original structure of the ancient house, there's good spacing between rooms, unlike the dense layout of typical hotels, so the soundproofing is also excellent. Another point worth mentioning is that the public areas haven't been sacrificed at all. You can wander around and take photos or sit down for a cup of tea. It's a wonderful way to learn about Minnan culture, as you're directly immersed in a century-old house, feeling the charm of the ancient dwelling. You can even hear the guesthouse owner directly share stories about Xiamen's local culture. This place is definitely a must-stay for an in-depth Xiamen trip!

🥳Accommodation: Climb to Gulangyu Island, stay in Lilac Garden, and feel the rich historical atmosphere of a century-old villa. The room is antique and in line with my aesthetics. There are many stars at night⭐ 😝Eat: Eat at Lilac Garden, the breakfast seafood noodles are great, the steamed buns are so fragrant and smoky, and the Houshenglin sugar water in the commercial street is also good 🥰Play: Climb up Sunlight Rock to see the entire sea garden up close and the blue sea far away. The most beautiful beach, Dadeji Bathing Beach, takes photos of the Twin Towers, Yanwu Bridge, and sea level in the same frame

The hotel environment is excellent, clean, comfortable, and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. The service is top-notch; the staff are very attentive and patient, making for a very comfortable stay overall. The decor is fresh and elegant, offering experiences like clay and pottery, which are fun, and the facilities are diverse. There's also greenery around, providing fresh air and a soothing green view that really helps you relax. The room facilities are complete, clean, and tidy, which is reassuring. The overall style is great, the service is excellent, the environment is good, and they might even offer small snacks, which my child loved. I'm very satisfied with everything.

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood. The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for. Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak. Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help. The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing. Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

VVythicaWe stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags. The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required. Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100. The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old. When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage. The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy. The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening. The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day. There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu. The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse. The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

MM48195****A very unique Tulou B&B. Small but refined. The design of the room is very particular. The lower floor is the bathroom and bathroom, and the upper floor is the bedroom. Several rooms are connected to form a suite. The rooms are all made of wood, and the walls are also covered with wooden boards, making it very spacious and generous. There is also a entrance hall that separates the corridors of each suite of rooms. There are only 10 rooms in one earth building, and the population density is very pleasant. The butler's service attitude was good. The receptionist helped with luggage, recommended tourist attractions, and provided an important message: Guangzhou tourists are free of charge, haha😆. There are also books introducing Tulou in the room. With a book in hand, you don’t need a tour guide. It’s great! Good reviews

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

MMaichengThe staff at this guesthouse were all incredibly warm and welcoming, which made for a great experience. Both dinner and breakfast were homemade here and tasted delicious. It was lovely to take a refreshing 50-minute walk in the cool morning air. Just a short walk over a small bridge, the adjacent village features several traditional Hakka fortified houses. The oldest of these structures date back 800 years, while the most recent began construction in 1964. The surrounding fields are beautiful, filled with rice paddies, lotus flowers, and passion fruit. Breathing in the fresh morning air from the fields was truly invigorating. One minor suggestion: we couldn't locate the switch for the bathroom exhaust fan during our entire stay, even after trying all the available switches. I'm sure there's one, but clearer labeling would be very helpful.

GGuest UserFrom the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene and welcoming atmosphere of this wonderful accommodation. The variety of room types available, including the spacious king room, the cozy twin bed room, and the charming ocean-view suite, ensured that there was a perfect option for every type of traveler. I personally stayed in the ocean-view room, and waking up to the sound of the waves and the breathtaking sunrise was an experience I will never forget. The attention to detail in each room was impressive. Every space was equipped with central air conditioning, a soft-lit vanity mirror ideal for getting ready in comfort, and high-quality branded mattresses that offered the ultimate sleeping experience. It was clear that the management had put great thought into ensuring guests' maximum comfort and relaxation. One of the standout features for me was the tea house. Being able to sip on freshly brewed tea while looking out over the sea was a simple yet luxurious pleasure. Whether it was watching the sun dip below the horizon in the evening or enjoying a peaceful morning with the golden sunrise, the views were always stunning. This property truly offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and unwind in style. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel makes no compromises when it comes to hospitality. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready with a smile and helpful suggestion. The location was also ideal—close enough to local attractions and amenities, yet secluded enough to offer peace and quiet. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It’s more than just a place to stay—it's a destination where comfort, beauty, and warm service come together to create unforgettable memories. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of the coast, this is the perfect choice. My stay here was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t wait to return.

JJ995LMy wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.
