Hot Springs Hotels in Ehime Prefecture, Japan

This is a hotel with history and stories. The Japanese emperor and the great Japanese writer Natsume have stayed here. The hotel service is good and they will help deliver the luggage to the room. Check-in is at 3pm. We arrived at noon and could only go to Dogo Onsen Street for a walk and wait until after 3pm to go back to the hotel to rest. The kaiseki cuisine for dinner at the hotel is good, and the steak is very tender. There are Western and Japanese breakfast options, and we chose Japanese breakfast. The hotel's hot springs are average, on the second and third floors of the South Building, and the third floor is a cypress hot spring. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Dogo Onsen Station, which is quite close, but it is uphill from the station. We took a taxi from the hotel at Matsuyama City Station for 1,630 yen.

Excellent location, very near Dogo Onsen and Shopping Street. Just need go via elevator, which is exclusive for hotel guests and well-connected. Hotel onsen is also good for use, no need to go with the crowd at Dogo Onsen.

If you're traveling with family, especially with your parents, this is a place I definitely recommend!! The size of the place is so huge that even if there's nothing nearby, just playing around inside the place is so much fun! The quality of the breakfast, dinner, and buffet is amazing... There's a massage shop, table tennis table, bar, and more, so there's nothing you can't find. The hot springs are amazing, and it was perfect to enjoy the hot springs while looking out at the forest. ㅠㅠ If I go to Matsuyama next time, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again!!

This hotel is located near Dogo Onsen. Although you need to climb uphill for a while, this small inconvenience is completely made up for by the excellent hot spring facilities. The hotel's hot spring facilities are complete, the environment is clean and comfortable, and you can completely relax. From the warm reception of the service staff to the careful settings in the room, everyone feels at home. If you are looking for a truly relaxing hot spring trip, this is recommended

The room was quite small, and the view from the window was a messy cityscape. You couldn't even see Matsuyama Castle from the room. Both the bedding and breakfast were of mediocre quality, which meant it wasn't great value for money. However, the location was excellent. From Matsuyama Station, you can take tram line 3 or 5 to Okaido, and the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the tram stop. The hotel is surrounded by various dining options and is very close to department stores.

It's located right in front of the Okaido shopping arcade, so it's in a perfect location! However, the rooms and bathroom smelled musty, perhaps because it's old. The bathroom was a bit dirty, but there was a large bath, so it was nice to use it... The breakfast was delicious, and the location was so great that everything else was forgivable. The staff were friendly, and there were even Korean guests!

I made a reservation here because I was going to spend a lot of time nearby. The staff were kind and very polite. The food was large and delicious using local products. I walk a little on the slope from the place to the place to eat, but it is a good distance to walk while saying that there is a lot of green and I am looking forward to what kind of rice will come out. It was said that the bath in the room also had a hot spring, but it was always kept at a constant temperature, and although it was 4 people, the hot water did not cool down and I was able to enjoy the bath. We used this hotel on short notice due to evacuating from a cold wave. We've heard of welcome drinks often, but this was the first time we've seen all-you-can-drink soft drinks and alcohol. You can drink as much as you like from 6pm to 9pm. We can see why some people come just for this. The breakfast is small, but the food is beautiful and we were very satisfied. The service was friendly, and there was a carpet in the room with a message saying ”Please get a good night's sleep.” We were told that security was also perfect. I don't like the fact that the baths are on a shift basis, but it was nice and clean.

It's a place I want to go again. I want to stay for a month with money. It was a very happy experience. The staff were friendly and the hot springs were so good and the room was in good condition. It was the most impressive place on my trip to Matsuyama.
