One of the best hotel we ever stayed. View was spectacularly stunning overlooking the ocean. Wake up in the morning to see this view just lifted your day every day. We book the swimming pool access which was shared between 2 other rooms. Though a bit of hassle that you had to go up to another level to exchange for pool towels with cards given during check in. Also there's also a cafe suitable for romantic couples and good ambience. Room is clean and spacious and all the staff is very friendly. Overall, my family enjoyed staying here & it is worth your money staying at this hotel. THUMBS UP!

Great hotel across from Kamala Beach, older style furnishings however the rooms were very clean. The aircon also worked well.
I initially booked into a pool access room however as there were children in the pool making excessive noise I requested a room change.
The reception staff were very accommodating and facilitated a villa towards the rear of the property.
Staff were very friendly and polite.
Plenty of restaurants close by.
Note the main pool is closed for renovations.
The price of around THB1,000 per night is appropriate for this property.

Excellent pool, and beautiful view from balcony the room. Enjoyed the roar of the waves throughout the day from your own balcony.
The service is friendly, fast and good.
Love the smoothies and milk shakes in the cafe.
Enjoyed the infinity pool views.
Lovely and romantic hotel for couples. We decided to stay a full day inside the hotel enjoying our balcony jacuzzi as well.
I will definitely return again just for the relaxing views !

I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is nice and clean, but it’s a family hotel with lots of kids, especially at the rooftop pool. I think the hotel should not allow kids in the rooftop pool so adults can relax.
My room had a bad smell, maybe from people who stayed before. The AC was strange and made the room very humid.
The gym also smelled bad, not fresh at all.
The food was not good, especially the burger — I didn’t like it.
It’s a good hotel for families, but not the best choice if you want peace and quiet.

We booked a Jacuzzi villa for 3 nights. Unfortunately, it rained most evenings, so we ended up spending a lot of time indoors. The room was decent—comfortable enough, though nothing particularly special.
One point to note is that the hotel seemed to cater to a large group of indians which may affect the atmosphere for some travelers.
The biggest letdown was the breakfast. The quality of the food was poor, and we found it quite disappointing. While the hotel emphasizes reducing food wastage—which is important—they should also focus on ensuring the food is actually enjoyable so that it can prevent unnecessary food wastage. To be specific, their stir fry noodles are inedible and not tasty at all, and for a hotel with a reputable name, it is sad that they cant even cook something so basic.
Overall, it was an average experience. There’s definitely room for improvement, especially in the food department. However, the jacuzzi villa is a unique beachfront hotel room. If u intend to stay here, opt out of the breakfast option, U will save alot. They quoted me $50 for each breakfast day, which is not even worth it. there are better food choices with affordable prices on grab or foodpanda.

Citygate was very comfortable and relaxing, the staff are extremely helpful and our unit was always kept clean. Beds were comfortable and it was great to have our own kitchen to prepare our own meals. The free shuttle to the beach was very helpful as there are lots of shops and eateries at the beach and in the surrounding streets. The resort had a laundry which we used while we were there, very convenient.
The resort was so close to Fantasea elephant show that we could walk to the venue. The Street market three times a week was just a three block walk from the resort. You could buy virtually anything from the street market from clothes, shoes to meat, vegetables and ready to eat street food, very delicious.

We had a great stay at Wyndham, and everything was very convenient. They generously upgraded us to a villa with an ocean view, which added a special touch to our experience. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. One standout feature was their app, which allowed us to easily request services and chat with customer support at any time. Their responses were impressively quick, making our stay even more enjoyable. They also provide a bus shuttle service to Patong and other areas for just 50 THB per person, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the surroundings.

A lovely resort for both younger and older children. The children loved the kids’ and teenagers’ lounge. The pools are amazing, and they especially enjoyed the slides. The food at Som’s Kitchen was excellent; we loved the curries and Pad Thais. The strawberry daiquiri is a must! Staff were friendly and greeted our children by name. Our only regret was not staying longer. The beach was clean, and we enjoyed swimming there. Well done Kamala Sunwing!

The lady at the front desk speaks great English and provides service like a personal butler. There are cool drinks when you check in, and hand towels are provided when you enter the room. The room has a very Southeast Asian style, with direct access to the swimming pool. The bathtub also has a massage function. You can take a bubble bath and look at the scenery of the beach opposite. It must be wonderful to relax here with your partner.

A lovely hotel with excellent service. The check-in experience was delightful, thanks to Madmee, who was exceptionally kind, energetic, and welcoming—setting a great tone for the stay. The team members operating the golf carts were also outstanding, ensuring seamless transportation around the property.
The room was spacious but had a low decoration, and the design and furniture felt a bit dated. However, the cleanliness was impeccable, which made up for the aged interiors.
Breakfast was excellent, and I had one of the best Eggs Benedict dishes here. However, the service was lacking—staff were not very attentive and were often engaged in conversations with each other, including those from the kitchen team. On the bright side, used plates were cleared promptly.
Overall, it’s a good hotel, though it lacks a beach and is a bit far from town and local dining spots. Despite these drawbacks, the staff’s warmth and service make it a pleasant place to stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in the centre of Kamala, near the beach, restaurants etc but no bars, so quiet at night. Nice pool, very helpful staff and a great breakfast. Good WiFi,. Highly recommended.
One suggestion is that there should be a fan in the room so you don't need to use aircon so much.

TTuxannie WuanKamala beach is a good beach if you want to stay on the beach resort.
There are also 2 swimming pools. Once face the sea and another one just door step from our room.
The distant to Patong beach is 20 minutes away, we rented a car so is not a problem for us.
The breakfast is Ala cart so the choice is limited the food is pretty quality.
It was our anniversary and they have prepared a brut on our room. Very sweet of them.
The room is comfortable and overall a good stay for us!

There is a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, and pots and dishes. You can buy frozen food in the supermarket and bring it back to the room to heat it up. The overall is very good. The private swimming pool in the room is very hidden and can't be seen from the outside. You can play with small bubbles in the water. If you really want to swim, you should go to the hotel's outdoor large swimming pool. It's best to choose a room near the inside. The room near the road is a bit noisy at night because of the sound of motorcycles passing by.

郁郁Never write a review but write about the price/performance ratio and kindness of the staff of this hotel! The public area is very distinctive and the room is clean and tidy. Five minutes walk from the beach, next to the big supermarket and a clinic where nucleic acid can be done. After staying during the day, I took a nap, and I came back to the bed at night and made it up. The hotel at this price actually has a turndown service! Stayed in more hotels with swimming pools and sea views, this kind of hotel hidden in the city is amazing. The service staff is very kind and hardworking. They are always cleaning. They will smile and say hello when they see it. The local drivers also recognize the hotel, and the room card will show them where they will know.

CCecibunzThis guesthouse exceeded my expectations beyond words. I judged it prematurely because of the price but my room was very big, it was squeaky clean and it actually looked nice. I also had a TV that I actually used, a kettle to make my coffee, an iron to press my clothes and a mini bar fridge. My room also had a balcony. The location is perfect. About 8 minutes walk to the beach (DON'T use the main road if you're walking, it's dangerous with no side walks and further. Use the backstreets). There are bars, restaurants, currency exchange offices, laundromats, ATM's and spa's everywhere you look. Had I known how much I would enjoy this place I would have stayed much longer. The staff at Sure Guesthouse is also very friendly, professional and helpful. Lastly, if you are not driving or using a motorbike, don't you worry, Grab and Bolt work very well here. I was using Grab to go to faraway destinations but then I switched to Bolt because their prices are almost 1/3 of Grabs prices. Cons: It gets a little noisy at night (cause of the bars and nightlife), but not so bad that you can't sleep. Also, there isn't a lift so you have to use stairs (this was fine for me cause I was eating ALOT so I needed the stairs, but I know some people don't like that and should probably ask to get a room on the 2nd floor when booking. Overall, this is a great place to stay for anyone of any age especially considering the price. If I ever come back to Thailand, I will definitely stay at Sure again.
