At our Check-in, the staff is very friendly and attentive, although the room is delivered until 3pm, they have a luggage storage service and you can use the facilities until the room is delivered to you, since in my case we arrived at 8am, they placed our bracelets on us and we were able to enter, the hotel itself is not luxurious but the facilities are very comfortable, with air conditioning and everything necessary to make the stay comfortable, the tower 1 elevator takes TOO LONG, the restaurant does not have much variety of food and it is somewhat expensive for what you get They serve you but not so expensive if you take into account that it is a hotel on the beach, the American breakfast that some rooms include is of a good portion and very rich, all the restaurant staff are very attentive and friendly. The pool is heated which is very good and more when you have children. They lend you pool towels which you can take from the hotel in case you are going to visit La Roqueta or other beaches and if you lose them they cost 250 pesos, they only change them once a day, at the end of your stay they give you a card that you hand in at reception stating that you do not owe towels. The same hotel places lounge chairs with an umbrella on the beach but there are very few of them, which is why I insist on starting their activities early, when you return from the beach in the shower so you can rinse off the sand and sea water. They NEVER have water. I recommend that you start your activities early before 9am since after that it becomes saturated, both the restaurant and the pool and beach loungers. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good, the rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, the screens have cable programming, although they are very small, but well, one does not go to watch TV if not on vacation, the room also has a minibar that works perfectly. At our Check out, which is at 12 noon, you also have the option of storing luggage since in my case my return was until 10pm. I thank the reception manager Corina and Lorena from the restaurant for their kindness. I will definitely stay with you again.

A very relaxing few days in the Malibu. Very friendly and attentive staff. A great pool right on the beach. Be careful if you want to swim in the sea here. Always check with locals first to see if it is safe as it can get rough. There are other beaches here where the swimming is safer than here. I like the area, lots of restaurants and banks and supermarkets. The room was spacious and had an individual aircon unit ( good in times of Covid) and fridge. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Their restaurant, Tabasco Beach, was very good for lunch and evening meals. Try the camarones al Coco! I found their breakfast prices a bit high but I decided to go there most days just for the convenience. The hotel was so nice I wanted to stay longer as it was so relaxing.

My experience in Acapulco located in Mexico, was very nice and interesting, for the beaches and the attention in the hotel. It was very fun for the different attractions and the different places, the people with whom we had the opportunity to talk were very kind and respectful. My trip was with my family, we visited many places, restaurants where the food was very tasty and had a great variety of dishes, our stay at the hotel was very nice for the service that the hotel gave us, it had a great view and the place was very quiet, and we liked the rooms very much and the location of the hotel was very good. It was a great adventure and I would recommend it very much, for the different tourist places that Acapulco has, as well as the hotels and restaurants for their great service.

It was ok back in the day I guess, but the hotel is old and we had no ocean views. That was kinda what we wanted. Other than that it was great.

This hotel should be a national monument, given its architecture. Most likely it was built during the 1960s, and it features three rotunda towers, none of which are more than six stories high (essentially the perfect size for a hotel; developers take note!!!). Surrounded on both sides by abominable and shabbily-constructed high-rises, the Acapulco Malibu is an absolute gem in the rough. Each room, from what I could gather, has its own balcony, is rather astonishingly spacious, and has a floor to ceiling mirror next to the bed...which is SO '70s fabulous it's...beyond belief! On the whole, service was excellent, the restaurant food was adequate, and noise levels a bit high (but by no means extreme). The pool was absolutely delicious -- perfect water temperature, cleanliness, shape and size...AND the deck overlooks glorious Acapulco Bay. BEAUTIFUL! The price when I stayed was a leetle high, however, given the fact that Acapulco is such a rat hole of a city. Sure, it's not Tulum and it's not Tijuana, but it's still fundamentally a consumerist hellscape with miles of barrios surrounding its core.

Not a nice facility. Good convenient location but no one spoke English. Very difficult to communicate.

Generally very good. It's right on the beach. The pool is of medium size and also with sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the restaurant I thought there could have been a little more value for money at breakfast time but the prices for lunch and dinner I thought were reasonable. The service at all times in the restaurant was excellent. I only tried the prawns for dinner but they were so good I had them three times in different ways! The rooms are big and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of places to put things and there was a fridge. Everything was very clean. The air conditioning in this hotel is individual and was new. I only have one negative comment. On Saturday night there seemed to be very few security staff on duty (compared to the rest of the week when I actually saw them passing front of my room) and a group of young guys decided to smoke, drink and chat in the passage way in front of the elevator at 3 am. The noise finally stopped at 4.30 am. It shouldn't be possible for people to be smoking inside the hotel. There are smoke detectors in the rooms which is why these guys were in the corridor I guess. The rest of the week everything was fine. I would strongly recommend this hotel on the whole and I hope to stay there again.
