Best hotel in vagia. Best experience. Best host. Very authentic. Breakfast is amazing. Host makes you feel like a longlife friend who came to visit. You feel at home. Garden is magnificent. I totally recommend. Don't think twice.

Vagia Traditional Hotel is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience unto itself. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in the warm embrace of Greek hospitality. Whether sipping a glass of local wine on the terrace or strolling through the olive groves at sunset, every moment here is infused with charm and tranquility. The rustic-chic accommodations and breathtaking views create an idyllic setting for a memorable getaway. We went twice in the last week for coffee and dessert, once as part of a foursome and once as a couple. We all really enjoyed the coffee and apple cake (excellent coffee--probably the best Americano on Aegina so far this year). More than anything, however, is the ambience of the place. Both times we sat in the front garden and enjoyed the comfortable chairs, the flowers, the cool breeze and very light music in the background. We love traditional Greece and hate all the busy-ness of the big cafes and life in the port. The owner was friendly and accommodating but also left us on our own to read and enjoy ourselves. We haven't stayed in the rooms, but all the outside spaces (and there are different levels you can sit on with different kinds of tables and chairs) are very carefully taken care of: flowers planted with professional care, spaces newly painted, furniture clean and tidy. There are interesting antique pieces but it doesn't feel junky. Even the whitewash on the stairs was fresh. Today as we left, I realized there are spectacular views of the temple and the church above (Prophet Elias) with beautiful flag flying. Did I mention plenty of room for parking? So unlike the buzz of the port--so restful!

Beautiful small hotel! The host was great and lovely garden/facility. I stayed 3 nights and explored mountain near by, hiked to cliffs for swimming. The closest beach is just a short walk away. About a 15 min drive for main harbour. Breakfast can be bought on spot and there is a few small restaurants near by.

Vagia  stands out. Not generalizing, but my way of seeing the way people do tourism is that they open taverna and guests come anyway. At Vagia you could see the passion and attention to details of the owner. Well maintained property, combining the old style with the energy and passion of the owner. Good health and all the best.

Beautiful complex, nourished with love and care. Warm people, exclusive service! I really felt at home with precious friends around! In the heart of Vagia, Aegina, next to the seaside, hugged by the mountain. The right place to refill yourself with peace and love. Thank you! Happy summer!

While the building is ok, the room are dirty and the area is rather noisy. The was rather greedy, we would have loved some greek food and not only french fried. Neverless the garden was pritty nice and the taxi driver was really helpful. We will stay in a different place next time.

Vagia Traditional Hotel exceeded all our expectations during our romantic getaway last October. Away from the touristy areas, this hidden gem provided us with the perfect setting for a week of romance and relaxation. Booking directly is the way to go for the best deals and offers.
