charged me no show when i told trip.com tht my frd who should be arrivijg first is sick

It's quite satisfactory. The decoration inside the hotel is completely different from the inside. The inside is a bit too modern to be considered a star hotel. It's really a bit colorful and rough, not refined enough, but clean.

Great value for money. The room was very clean and the first floor was on a higher floor. Breakfast is also good, quite rich. The decoration style is quite modern and unique. The room was cleaned every day.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. It is close to the train station and only one stop away from the central station in the city center. It has a unique old building with a sense of design. The rooms on the ground floor are the largest and get smaller as you go upstairs. The top floor is a spire loft, and Pillar. The dark-skinned young waitress at the front desk had a very bad attitude. Because I had stayed there many times, I specifically made a note when booking that I didn’t want a room on the top floor because I was tall and had a lot of big luggage, but she gave me one when I checked in. The room on the top floor is not accessible by elevator. You have to take the elevator to the third floor and then walk down the steep wooden stairs with two large suitcases. I asked to change rooms. I made a note of my request when booking. She said You can't change, and the requirements in the remarks may not be met. I said that I can wait until other rooms are cleaned before I change. She insisted that I can't change, you can only stay in this room, and her attitude was very rude. I was in a hurry to go out, so I had to put down my luggage and go out to do errands. After I came back, I went to the front desk to complain to the manager, saying that I was treated rudely and with hidden racial discrimination, which I found unacceptable. The tall male manager immediately apologized and moved us to a room on a lower floor. The other staff at the hotel are very friendly, especially the middle-aged female manager at the front desk and the tall general manager.

It is a traditional European-style hotel with a good price. The breakfast is rich, and the rooms not close to the road are very quiet, suitable for business trips. There is an East Park nearby, which is very suitable for walking and sunbathing.

Easy walk to Muiderpoort station with quick access to central Amsterdam and other cities, though there are good bars and restaurants nearby. Cool old building, rooms were more spacious that most in Amsterdam, and it was very clean.

Very good hotel for a short stay in Amsterdam. Good location and excellent value. Nice restaurant and a bar but we didn’t get to try the breakfast, I think it would have been good though

This was a nice property just a train or tram ride away the Central Station. Everyone was very friendly there. They have working elevators (we heard some places in Amsterdam do not). The room was a very good size.

The staff was lovely and the converted hospital was lovely too. Great Center location quick half block to the tram.

Very friendly and knowledgeable hotel staff at check-in. Hotel was spotless and room was fantastic. It's situated less than a 3min walk from the train station.

Lovely stay. I Didn’t realise it’s not in the centre so have to get 2 trams there. I think usb input in bedroom would be a bonus I was surprised it didn’t have any

All the hotel staff who helped me were very kind and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I asked for bottled water in addition to the little ones available in the room and they promptly got it for me, also I am not used to November's average temperature of Amsterdam and the staff provided me with a space-heater as soon as I mentioned that I was feeling a bit cold and wanted to warm up the bathroom to take a comfortable shower. The environment in the hotel areas feel very comfortable and it is located in a very nice and convenient area. I surely would stay in this hotel again if visiting in the future.

Our favorite hotel in Europe. Great rail and Tram connections just outside front door. Convenient food and market places nearby. Fine breakfast and THE MOST COMFY BEDS and PILLOWS ANYWHERE.

We booked a King room and were upgraded to a junior suite on the ground floor. The room was really nice thought not quite as private as desired (being on the ground floor with low windows). The surrounding area had lots of restaurants, shops and amenities. The staff were professional and straight talking, but that is the Dutch way! This is our second time at the Manor Amsterdam and we wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend
