AluaSoul Zakynthos - Adults Only - All Inclusive

2 week all inclusive holiday Oct 2023 We decided to book aluasoul zante for our 2023 holiday. We read the reviews and the majority of people said positive things about the hotel yes there were negative ones but we had been to the excellence in Mexico last year and it was stunning but people still had a moan about that so we took the plunge and booked. We paid extra for sea view room but could only see about 1 inch of it from. Balcony plus we wanted double bed but had two singles we spoke to polite staff who showed us a new room which would be available in the morning and it was alot better beautiful view of sea but single beds they said they would give us a double bed . I the morning we swapped rooms but they had only thrown a matress topper on the beds and pushed them together so not great . When we pressed flush we had 2 hrs of cistern filling and had to keep pressing it over and over in hope the noise would stop. The room was small. There was nothing in the fridge which was not great considering we were all inclusive no snacks fruit pop only 2 small bottles water on side. Shower had corrosion and was rusty the room had been recently painted but had not been wiped where they had over painted. Bath was very slippery just all needed updating replacing. We could not get a lounger by pool as selfish people put towels down and we're there all day they gounch or away for kip and come back the staff never enforced the NORESERVING loungers at all! So we would go to the beach every day instead . Breakfast was not great I can eat anything but stuck to cerial or some fry up beans sausage eggs that were not cooked or over cooked the orange jusce apple was u drinkable tasted like neat orange cordial the coffee machine was not a great option thank god we brought own tea bags. lunch dinner was not much better yes there was a varied choice but alot tasted the same my fiance who is fussy lived on spam , plain ham chips with rosamary on them or abit of salad. The desserts were nice but everything had flys and wasps all over it so we eat as soon as it opened and not later. There is a upgraded club where fir 80 € 100€ per night you get access to better rooms. 2 other pools and sunlougets which were plentiful a restaurant which served same menu most night not great we looked!. Two egg wicker chairs in middle og hotel only for select guests and a small tabled area next to main restaurant with same food. So it looks amazing I. Photos but not worth it to upgrade we went on shipwreck beach and blue cave tour with nexis local tour company which was well worth it . Hotel 30 mins Bad points Not 4 star hotel 3 at best Didn't have all inclusive experience drinks stopped at 11 Same entertainment over on 3 day cycle and too loud Poor food wasps flys everywhere Room. My wife and I booked this trip as we tried to find a suitable break in the UK whilst my mother was on one of her garden holiday jaunts. Unfortunately, we could not find anything in the UK. So, we looked further afield and chose a 3-night break in Zakynthos. It was utter bliss to escape the rain and low temperatures in England and exchange it for some heat and decent weather. It is an adults-only hotel and I think the only board option was all-inclusive. The hotel wasn't too lively and laid on some decent entertainment in the evening. The food was of good quality with plenty of choice and quantity. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly and deserved medals—especially the bar staff by the pool. Unfortunately, there were two guests, one of who was out of it by lunchtime every day. It wasn't very pleasant for staff and guests. My wife thought the pool was one of the best she had been in. She liked the fact it was a uniform depth. The rooms were comfortable and clean in a Travel lodge sort of way. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel by the sea, maintaining 4 star standards and Hyatt hotel chain. 16+ is nice advantage for your relax. Access to the sea via pier directly to the water with nice sandy bottom and safe depth. Very satisfied with the location, hotel services, staff. Cleanliness of the room and housekeeping services is their room for the improvement. Overall rating despite this is excellent for us.

We have just returned from an 11 night holiday. We genuinely had the most amazing time! Despite one issue. Our air-conditioning was not working for the first 5 days and we had to sleep with the doors open. Which led to some unwanted 'guests'!🤣 When it was fixed. We were kindly upgraded to MFC, but stayed in the same room. Which was smaller than expected. But had everything we required. It was cleaned everyday without fail and had very comfortable beds. The whole hotel was very clean. The food was good. The staff were all incredible; so friendly and happy. I would say the bathrooms are a little tired and shower screens etc need replacing. But other than that, all was good. We also hired a car and travelled all around the whole island. Plus, we took a ferry over to Kefalonia, which is a stunning, unspoilt island, too. We went on around 3 boat trips. Which are a must when in Zakynthos. Thank you to ALL the staff at the Aluasoul. The hotel was a peaceful haven. Just what we needed.

First time here definitely wont be the last. 7 night stay being well treated by all staff. Not fair to name individuals because they all go above and beyond to make a pleasant relaxing stay. Buffet service at all meals excellent choices of food.

Had a lovely time last week, for a 3 night stay at the resort. I stayed in the My Favorite club rooms which have a great sea view and private area with 2 swimming pools and a bar . During the week I mostly ate at the buffet which was different everyday and also had a meal one night at the al la carte restaurant, which was lovely. As a non drinker I found there to be a good selection of soft drinks and mocktails at each bar. The staff I also need to give a shout out too, alex and tony where great. At night there were some singers and this gave it a nice chilled atmosphere. Will definitely be back again

2nd year having a weeks stay. Excellent place. Difficult to fault it. Compact, decent food, great pool area, great location, friendly staff. Will be going again. Brilliant.

We stayed in the My Favourite Club Swim up front sea view room. Highly recommend this option. The view from the room was so beautiful and having the terrace with the chairs and sunbeds with canopy right opposite the infinity pool was brilliant. Apart from some steps to climb, which wasn't a huge problem, the location was lovely. We found the hotel clean, all the staff so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make the holiday special for all. We had such a nice time it was hard to leave. The food was of good standard and there were plenty of choices every mealtime. I would say it was one of the best hotels we have stayed out that we will remember for a long time.
