Acropolis City Life BH

We found this hotel by chance and it’s in a great location. My family and I spent two nights here before getting on a cruise and we wanted somewhere central to go sightseeing and this did not disappoint. Lovely decor, the hotel smells lovely and I found it to be immaculate. Staff were very friendly. We stayed in room 501 and our view of the Acropolis was stunning. The balcony was a lovely space to sit although there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel so can be a little noisy. My only criticism was the breakfast was a little basic but we still managed to get some toast and fruit. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Warm greeting, quick check in. Room was gorgeous, everything you needed including slippers, quality toiletries, coffee pods as well as tea and coffee. Spacious too. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and so tasty. Decor throughout is immaculate. Located in a narrow street, the taxi cannot enter, but they are literally the second building in. At the other end of this street is Little Kook, Google it, well worth a visit for sure. Short walk to metro station.

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon in Athens & we’re so pleased we did. Friendly staff, a great room, a good selection for breakfast & a selection of snacks & drinks available 24/7. They are building a bar on the 5th floor rooftop but until it is done you can take your own drink there which we did & enjoyed fabulous views of the Acropolis. They also gave us a bottle of bubbly for our honeymoon which was a nice touch. A great place we totally recommend - it’s also close to a huge choice of bars & restaurants.

This was an amazing hotel to stay in on our last night in Greece. So close to the Acropolis views and right in City Centre. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We loved the front desk staff who were more than happy to provide directions and recommendations for great restaurants!

Ideal location (a bit difficult to find at first, but, to be expected when traveling abroad to a new destination) and not too big of a property to navigate. Staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were a decent size and nicely appointed. Close to all sights within walking distance and public transport. Had a great stay.

Central location, a short walk away from Monastiraki Square. We walked to everywhere, even the Acropolis and never used the public transport. We only took the metro from the airport and stopped at Monastiraki station. Cost: EUR 9 per person. From there, it is a 7 mins walk with luggage to the property. Fairly flat but streets not too clean. The property is in a small alley next to the fairytale street. Newly renovated property, tastefully decorated. Large double bed, safe deposit box, an open closet (which I personally do not like), sufficient lighting, air conditioning, kettle, free toiletries (not replaced everyday but available upon request), TV with Netflix. Air freshner all throughout the property, even in the rooms (though at times too much in the nose for my personal taste). Room smaller than expected (especially the bathroom which can be stuffy). Room can feel hot after a full day out. We could however open the windows. Some noise from the construction site next door during the day. They start early but stop at night. We slept well at night - no street noise. The property has an amazing rooftop view of the Acropolis and a rooftop area where you can have some drinks on your own. An easy walk to most restaurants or eateries. The property provided all day free bottles of water, juice, tea, coffee and snacks (croissant, etc), toast, jam, etc which was a big bonus. Breakfast, though not a large spread, was enough. Delicious spanakopita. The staff was friendly and fluent in English. The property arranged for our taxi to our next destination, which was a breeze.

We did 3 nights at this hotel on our way out of Greece. Location is obviously a strength, walkable to all of monastiriki and plaka and the sights. Breakfast was good, there was a fridge in the lobby always stocked with water which we appreciated. 5th floor roof views are amazing and we took food or drinks up there to enjoy, all by ourselves which felt good amidst the center of a busy city. The hotel itself is tiny, the room is tiny, and it ended up being quite noisy. The room is marketed as soundproof but we heard lots of noise from within the hotel and outside, even on the second floor. The staff are very very kind and arranged massages in room and accommodated our late checkout and holding our bags. They welcomed me and my husband on our honeymoon and we felt that the service was the best part of the stay, then the location. Smart TV was nice too

Acropolis city life boutique hotel We have stay at this hotel from sept 12 to sept 15, room 401. There is nothing bad to say about this hotel, it’s has a nice smell every were, the staff are friendly, the room was perfect, new, clean and we had the view of the Acropolis. There is everything you need for a good breakfast. They have a refrigerator were you can take at any time of the day, juices, water, milk. They also provide, if you ask some wine or ouzo, that you can drink on their wonderful roof terrace, with the amazing Acropolis view at night. We even had the chance to drink there special wine with honey, that the owner suggested. Everything was perfect for us at this hotel

Mere words cannot express my sincere appreciation to Vangelis and his staff for their hospitality during my stay. Exhausted after a long flight from the States he welcomed me with a delicious glass of wine 🍷 which totally made my day! What you notice first is the beautiful decor of this boutique hotel and are soon met with an aroma of freshness as you are checked in. My room was absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail is demonstrated in the artwork, lighting, shower and things that travelers may have forgotten such as slippers neatly waiting for you. There is also no request that I had that went unmet. Vaggelis and his very competent staff are always available to help you with whatever you need. This hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and literally a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis which you can see from their beautiful rooftop. Transportation services are arranged through the hotel and provided by their driver Dimitrios who is professional and efficient. After hopping around the Cyclades I returned for an additional night’s stay before flying back to the States. I would not hesitate to return again and highly recommend the Acropolis City Life Hotel for your stay in Athens.
