"We had a wonderful stay at Bow View Lodge. The location is excellent, with the river just behind the property, providing a beautiful and peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
We also appreciated the front desk team calling ahead to reconfirm our reservation dates, which was a thoughtful touch and gave us peace of mind before arrival. While the rooms are a bit dated, they were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Anonymous UserThe hotel staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hot tubs were exactly as pictured—beautiful, spotless, and very relaxing.
The housekeeping was exceptionally thorough. Every detail of the room was kept clean and well cared for.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Banff. Above all, the mountain-view balcony was an unforgettable experience. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery made my stay truly special.

KristyhoThe hotel is located in a very convenient location. It is just 5 mins walk to the Elk hotel / Mount hotel. The front desk Rose Ann was very helpful and introduced us about the things can be done in Banff and the awesome food nearby. The room is very clean. The house keeping managed our room very well. The hotel also has a corner that provided 24 hour coffee, tea and chocolate. My friend and I also enjoyed the hot spring for 2 nights. It has been a wonderful stay in the Peaks Hotel. Will definitely recommend others to stay in Peaks if they travel to Banff !!!! :)

Guest UserThe hotel facilities are quite new, the environment is beautiful, and getting around is very convenient. The town's bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can ride the town's public transportation for free. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is highly recommended – it's fantastic! However, the hotel does not provide slippers, toothbrushes, or other toiletries, so you'll need to bring your own or buy them at the town's supermarket.

There are two parking options: you can choose to pay for parking in their lot, or use the free parking spaces behind the hotel. The room was comfortable, but the sink was a bit clogged, so the drainage wasn't very smooth. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a good stay.

Guest UserThe hotel is a bit far from Banff Centre, but there's a bus stop right outside, and the hotel provides free bus tickets. We stayed in a room with a view and could see the snow-capped mountains from the balcony. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed with the housekeeping service; we stayed for two nights, and on the second day, our room wasn't cleaned, and toiletries and bar items weren't replenished. The air conditioning was also very noisy, and even though maintenance came to adjust it, there was no improvement.

Guest UserHotel is a bit far from town but it provides free town shuttle.
We booked the balcony room hoping to get a better view. We have rooms with big trees in front. When asked if we can change rooms, he won’t change since it’s not booked direct.
The balcony room has little heat as the heater is smaller and the room is colder.

Guest UserThis hotel's location is incredibly convenient. You can catch the bus to and from Calgary Airport right at the hotel. Across the street is the Banff High School bus terminal, and the 8x bus to Lake Louise also stops there. Plus, the hotel provides free bus tickets, so you can reach most attractions by public transport, and there's free parking available too. On top of that, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Traveller WinThe hotel feels a bit dated, but the room was spacious, neat, and tidy. The towels weren't sparkling white but were acceptable. My favorite part was the bathroom amenities—the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were amazing! The only downside was the pool hours (9 AM - 9 PM); we got back past 10 PM and couldn't use it. It would be perfect if they could extend the pool hours.

Have different hotel activities for us to join to understand more about the Hotel History and Banff, say Hotel History Tour, Twilight Walk.

There are different restaurants for our choices, I love The Rundal, Waldhaus, The Vermollion Room, all with good scenery at window seat.
*advance reservation via online is suggested
The yoga class, gym room, outdoor hot pool, indoor pool are also good for us to have some relaxation activities!

The room was clean and tidy, 39 square meters, with a kitchen, dining area, and fireplace for heating – exceeding my expectations. There was indoor parking, a water sports center, sauna, and swimming pool. The environment was beautiful. The hotel provides Roam bus tickets to Banff town, allowing unlimited free rides on town buses, which is very convenient.
