"We had a wonderful stay at Bow View Lodge. The location is excellent, with the river just behind the property, providing a beautiful and peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
We also appreciated the front desk team calling ahead to reconfirm our reservation dates, which was a thoughtful touch and gave us peace of mind before arrival. While the rooms are a bit dated, they were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Overall, a great value for the location and a pleasant place to stay while enjoying the beautiful Banff!"

"We were happy with this place. It seems dated but in nice repair (much like our home and ourselves). We wanted it mostly for the fireplace but the room had more than that with a full kitchen and full size appliances. If we ever wanted to be in Banff and make substantial home cooked food, this would be ideal. The bed was great and the staff very kind and friendly. It is in a natural mountain area just five minutes by car from downtown Banff. We had a balcony looking at a Mountain view and deer in the yard in front of the unit. There is bus service into town and free tickets offered by the resort. There is a water slide and an indoor and outdoor hot tub which is nice but not really a breathtaking setting. If you enjoy corn mazes this building has a lot of routing in it that takes a while to learn. We joked with other guests about that. All in all, pretty okay. We would book here again."

LenonoThe double room was tiny, with no space for luggage, but then again, you wouldn't want to just stay cooped up indoors when visiting Banff. There's free, semi-covered parking, which is great for keeping out of the rain. The complimentary breakfast wasn't extensive but definitely filling enough. If you're staying for several days, there's a good chance your key card might stop working mid-stay. The hotel encourages guests to opt out of housekeeping, citing environmental protection, but the old perk of getting a coffee shop voucher for doing so is no longer available.

chiiisatoThis hotel had an amazing location, so close to the town of Banff, making it super easy to get around everywhere! We arrived early, but they were kind enough to let us check in ahead of schedule and get into our room, which was a huge plus. The room itself was spacious and very clean, which I was happy with. It also had a shower room with a bathtub. In the hotel lobby, there was a free drink dispenser, which was a nice touch. While there wasn't a restaurant inside this hotel, we were able to enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel right across the street! Plus, there are tons of other places to eat nearby, so we really didn't have any issues at all.

Overall pretty good, underground parking was rough with little space an terrible parkers. Unfortunately there’s nothing the hotel could do about people’s driving skills. I would recommend this hotel but get back early and walk if you can if you’d like to have a spot for your vehicle.

The town's bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and you can ride the town's public transportation for free. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is highly recommended – it's fantastic! However, the hotel does not provide slippers, toothbrushes, or other toiletries, so you'll need to bring your own or buy them at the town's supermarket.

This hotel isn't in the city center; it's up on a hill, so it's more convenient to drive yourself there. However, there's also a bus stop right outside, and they even give you a free one-day bus pass, which is a nice perk. The only minor downside is that you have to climb stairs to get to the rooms, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're lugging luggage.

The counter staff is friendly and the feeling is very comfortable.
There are few breakfast options, but a simple gym is good.
There is a refrigerator, microwave and bathtub, which is great.
There are also many seats in the lounge on the first floor.
Open-air bathing is really recommended, and it is very clean! !
I think the CP value is very high, and there is a free parking space! !
It is very convenient to drive to Banff. It is a little distance from the town, about 15 minutes walk.
But overall it is still highly recommended.

JoannChitIf you visit Banff, you must stay at the Fairmont! It is a beautiful hotel that is more like a castle with a million-dollar view of the mountains around it. A nice perk is that all guests at the Fairmont receive free passes for the shuttles that get you around town, so need to worry about transportation. A great stay all by itself and surrounded by connection to all of the attractions close by: hiking trails, frozen lakes, glacier valleys, and of course the town of Banff itself.

The room amenities are quite basic, showing that the hotel is likely a bit older. Free parking is available in the hotel's underground garage. It's not great value for money, but then again, hotels in Banff are generally expensive.
