The view was amazing- snowy mountain peak, and saw wild animals right in front of your balcony while having breakfast. We were here for the kids' hockey tournament. 8 mins drive to the hockey rink . Not a walking distance. We will come back in summer and try the trail nearby. The swimming pool was small and the water was cold but the kids seemed to be ok."

The elevator doesn't require a key card, which feels like a security risk. One morning, a Black man knocked on my door and wouldn't speak when I asked who it was, which was quite unsettling."

"The cabin has a great layout, with a shared living room, two bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs, and an additional bedroom with a bathroom in the loft. Outside, there’s a great hot tub and sauna a(although busy). We also used the communal grill, though it could have been cleaner. Although the cabin layout is nice, the furniture inside felt a bit dated and could use an upgrade. It would also be helpful if each cabin had assigned parking, as we often had to park quite a distance from our unit."

Looking at the interior photos, there's even a separate room with a door where women slept together, which made it less inconvenient (though I didn't exclusively sleep in there myself, of course). If you're traveling alone to Banff, it's very cost-effective to buy groceries from the nearby IGA supermarket and cook your own meals, which many people do."

The hotel gave us buss passes free of charge for all day travel however since we had the car we didnt use it. I took a lodge and it was very nice, it was the last one on the property and pretty quiet yet very accessible. I didnt use any amenities so i dont know however everything seems pretty solid."
