XXiangxishidahaiI've been to Banff many times before, but always stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. This time, my family and I decided to revisit on a whim. Since the Fairmont was fully booked every day, we had to choose another hotel. I saw the Moose Hotel on Ctrip, with its underground parking and rooftop hot springs, and immediately booked a two-night stay. Upon arrival, we found the hotel to be right on the main street in the town center, which was super convenient for shopping. You can indeed drive directly into the underground parking garage and take the elevator straight up to all floors. After dinner, we enjoyed a free hydromassage in the rooftop hot springs and massage pool, washing away the fatigue from several days of driving. The hotel also provides three days of free bus passes for guests to visit nearby attractions. Our room was well-equipped. There was a kettle provided, and the water pressure for the shower was excellent, making for a very refreshing experience.

3321_TiffanyGreat location, just a 3-5 minute walk to the Goose, Bird and Lemon store. However, I don't feel Banff is very safe these days. Be careful of thieves – I was followed by a group of strange kids all the way to the hotel entrance.

GGuest UserThere weren't many places that could accommodate five people. This place has a private villa that can accommodate up to six. We were traveling by car anyway, so it was about a three-minute drive from downtown Banff, but it was fine. It was nice to come back in the evening and soak in the hot tub. The view from each window was also wonderful.

GGuest UserI was a little worried because it was a motel, but it was very clean and comfortable. The room was warm and suited Banff, and the bathroom was clean. I usually bring my own shampoo, but I tried this one, which seems to be a Rocky Mountain brand, and was surprised how well it worked on my hair! There were plenty of cups, but no cutlery, so people who eat in their rooms will need to bring their own.

李家庭The location of the hotel is good with perfect access to the town. There is a supermarket named IGA which is about 8 mins walk. The cave pool is amazing which gives us a relaxing experience. The room is spacious with 2 levels. The upper level is bedroom while the lower level is dining room with a small kitchen. However, room service needs to be improved as there is no cleaning for one day during our stay. Facial tissue doesn't refill after using up.

JJoseph Eduard Larano IIIWe had an incredible stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff. From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals. The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes. What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort. I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

RrohitsharingThe room size was small and needed better planning on interior arrangements. Same goes for the bathroom. The room could have been better lit … dark gives gloomy impression and as if there’s something being hidden (like the floor carpet which we felt needed a better cleaning). The reception service is outstanding and people there are very helpful. They also have a fitness club and spa. The parking is in the basement and is easy. They also give complimentary bus tickets for those who want to explore places on bus. We didn’t need it as we had our own car.

DDave van KampenWe were happy with this place. It seems dated but in nice repair (much like our home and ourselves). We wanted it mostly for the fireplace but the room had more than that with a full kitchen and full size appliances. If we ever wanted to be in Banff and make substantial home cooked food, this would be ideal. The bed was great and the staff very kind and friendly. It is in a natural mountain area just five minutes by car from downtown Banff. We had a balcony looking at a Mountain view and deer in the yard in front of the unit. There is bus service into town and free tickets offered by the resort. There is a water slide and an indoor and outdoor hot tub which is nice but not really a breathtaking setting. If you enjoy corn mazes this building has a lot of routing in it that takes a while to learn. We joked with other guests about that. All in all, pretty okay. We would book here again.

LLyssaGThis hotel is an excellent value for the location and price. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable, amenities are as described. You need to check in next door, but this isn’t inconvenient. The hotel allows you to use the free underground parking until 4pm on day of checkout, which is excellent. I’ve stayed here before and will be returning.
