Bintan Hotels with balcony

We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

Our stay at Said Beach House was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff truly went above and beyond for us – not just doing the bare minimum, but consistently making the extra effort to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, genuine hospitality and thoughtfulness really made the experience so much more special, and it's honestly what stood out to us the most. The food was also great and always prepared on time... everything was seamless and well-organised throughout our stay! The villa itself was very cozy, well-kept and exceptionally clean. It was a comfortable space to come back to after a long day of activities. Just a small tip: do remember to keep the doors closed to prevent insects or mosquitoes from entering. Speaking of that, Sadi Beach House is definitely a place where you will feel very connected to nature. You may occasionally come across insects or lizards (or even stray cats!), but it really ads to the overall experience rather than taking away from it – it's all part of the charm. The location was perfect for us. While amenities like minimarts may be a little further out, it meant that the area was incredibly quiet and peaceful, especially at night. It's the ideal place if you're looking to unwind and take a break from the noise and pace of city life. Overall, we had such a lovely stay and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing staff who made everything feel so effortless and welcoming! I would absolutely recommend Sadi Beach House to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We stayed at Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach for three nights during our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel was beautiful, peaceful, private, and very comfortable. We especially loved the stylish design, relaxing atmosphere, pool, beach, and delicious food. What made our stay even more special was the wonderful staff. They remembered us and always greeted us warmly, and we could genuinely feel how much they cared about their guests. After checking out, we realized that we had accidentally left a bag of souvenirs in the lobby. The staff kindly delivered it all the way to Four Points, where we had moved. We were deeply touched by their kindness and will never forget it.🥹 We were extremely satisfied with our stay. If we ever come back to Bintan, we would love to spend our entire stay at Hotel Indigo rather than staying anywhere else. We already miss this wonderful place and would definitely return. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special and memorable! One small suggestion would be to improve the hotel’s online photos and promotional content. Before our stay, we honestly didn’t have very high expectations based on the photos we saw online. However, when we arrived, we were amazed by how much more beautiful the hotel was in person. The atmosphere, design, pool, beach, and overall scenery were far more impressive than the photos could capture. We think the hotel deserves better photos and more video content that truly showcases how beautiful and special the property is. The actual hotel exceeded our expectations by far!

The staff here are really friendly, honestly, I find them much more chill than hotel staff in China. It's not a forced friendliness for good reviews, but genuinely kind. The location is excellent, close to the sea where you can see the stars. The pool is clean, and the hygiene is good; I didn't find any bugs or anything. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is delicious, and breakfast is plentiful. The air conditioning works well. I think booking a room here automatically includes airport transfers and breakfast, which wasn't very clearly stated on the description page. Highly recommend!

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa in Bintan! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. The villa itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, clean, and offering breathtaking views that made our vacation truly unforgettable. What made our experience even more special was how the team went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday. They surprised me with thoughtful decorations and a lovely birthday arrangement that made the day extra memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality exceeded all our expectations. The facilities were excellent, the food was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the city. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Thank you for making my birthday celebration and our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway in Bintan!

The hotel is part of a bigger resort property. The hotel location is good and the staff service attitude is great. However, the quality of the foods served in the restaurants are not good. The goods sold in the Happy Marts inside the resort property are extremely overpriced which are 3 to 4 times more expensive than in Singapore. Further, the gym in the Recreation Centre has a very strong mouldy smell. The quality of the SPA is not good. The technique of the masseurs should be improved. Also, the air-conditioner in the massage room is broken. Not worth to have any SPA treatment there.

The service was very pleasant and attentive. The room was extremely clean. There were plenty of activities and two restaurants available at the resort.

Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.
