DO NOT STAY HERE – Worst hotel experience ever
This hotel completely ruined the last night of my trip to Bali. I booked and paid for a premium ocean-view room and made repeated requests for a quiet room. The staff at check-in even confirmed I would get one. That was a complete lie.
Instead, I was placed directly under their rooftop Sunset Bar, with blaring, unbearable music shaking the walls. It was like trying to sleep inside a nightclub. I immediately complained and asked to move rooms. They showed me “options” that were all worse than what I paid for. In the end, I was left with no real choice and had to settle for a downgraded room, at least $100 cheaper than the one I booked — and no, they refused to refund the difference.
The nightmare didn’t end there. The new room was just as bad — nonstop barking dogs, loud traffic, thumping noises from upstairs, and bright light from the hotel sign flooding the room all night. It was impossible to sleep, and I had an international flight the next morning. I left the hotel exhausted, furious, and regretting ever booking here.
The hotel tried to buy me off with late check-out and an airport transfer. Please — that doesn't fix anything. I was not given what I paid for. The service was dishonest, the infrastructure terrible, and the management completely unhelpful.
I’ve since discovered I’m not the only one. There are many similar complaints online. This hotel knows their rooms are noisy and unfit — and they’re still taking people’s money.
Save yourself the stress and stay away from Platinum Hotel Jimbaran Beach. They do not care about guests. They only care about covering their failures with excuses and empty offers.
