D'Puncak Villas Lembongan

The most beautiful family run villas far above the madding crowd. I loved everything about my stay from the generous hospitality to the traditional beautiful aesthetic to the amazing garden. If you love gardens ask Made to tell you about his and all the amazing plants, many of which were specially imported. After a day seeing the beauties of Nusa Lembongan, it is amazing to be able to come back and chill out in such a tranquil space. Also loved supporting a local family business run by wonderful hard working people born and raised in Lembongan. Thank you Made and family.

We stayed 5 nights and really liked this place. From the meticulously maintained garden area and pool to the hospitality of the host family who run this place. Made and his wife are warm and professional. They run a tight operation here, and always want to help if they can. The hut was lovely and clean, with good a/c. The shower and water temperature were always reliable, and you could get it as hot or cold as you like with good pressure. Made collaborates with a neighbour, and provides good scooters for the guests to use to get to the town and around the island. The chill vibe (very quiet at night). The communication from the hosts was good. To get here from the port, it is necessary to pay for the taxi service which they provide, which is perfect but maybe it should be included in the price of the accommodation, given it is located right in the centre of the island on a hill. The road up to the accommodation is full of potholes, and has clearly not been maintained or resurfaced in a long time (This is not the fault of the owners, but they should probably push their local politicians to invest in the roads in Nusa Lembongan). The owners have done everything to try to provide reliable Wi-FI, but still a couple of times during our stay, it was very slow or not working which is frustrating, but obviously to be expected on an island off Bali. Again, local representatives should try do some more work on this, and make the network more robust. Scooters are an absolute necessity here, so you need to factor in hiring a scooter every day into your overall budget, because you can't really go anywhere or see the island without a scooter.

We had a lovely stay there, the hotel manager was so friendly and helpful. He helped us organizing a taxi for our departure and kept us company until the pick up time. Also, the last day they left us to do a late checkout without any further charge.

I don’t have words to explain how incredible this place is. From start to finish we had the absolute best time. It’s absolutely beautiful and in such a quiet/peaceful area. The pool is lovely and clean and the sun beds/furniture around the pool was top notch. The staff at this place is what made our stay unforgettable - they treat you like family and will do anything for you. My trip ended with me crying because I was so sad to leave these amazing people and this gorgeous place. It’s so affordable as well and the rooms are stunning. If I come back to Nusa Lembongan I will definitely be staying here again.
