The room is quite decent and clean. Because it is a B&B where a big family lives together, everyone is very warm and hospitable. The Hindu culture of Bali is worshiped in family temples in the courtyard. It is full of exotic customs and is very unique.

People at this place were friendly. There is a nice balcony on the 2nd floor rooms. Breakfast was okay. Being Vegan we only had toast, fruits, coffee/tea, and juice. Beware that there is a rooster that calls as early as 4am. It is centrally located near many restaurants and shops.

Beautiful rooms and serene garden The location in the middle of Ubud town is fantastic The service with a smile was welcome as was the massage The cool water of the plunge pool was a relief after a tiring day of walking around The cleanliness of the place could be improved

Awan house is like staying at your grandmother's house in Ubud it is located on a main street but we have yet to hear any noise, except a rooster in the morning. It is not a fancy resort by any means, however, it does have a ceiling fan and air conditioning in the wall like the European written. Be careful it only has two plugs in the room, one on either side of the bed, but the attendant was lovely enough to actually go by us an extension within five minutes of us asking if he had one. They serve you breakfast, which my husband thought was fine I did not. It has a cool small pool without chlorine, but very clean. our room is small and the bed is not soft by any means. My husband loves it. I think it's hard they have shampoo and body wash and the shower, but we did not see soap, fresh towel every day. No face. No conditioner etc. but the price is also very minimal. It is centrally located, it's worth a try

Good location, and all of the rooms are set back from the road so it's fairly quiet. Room was quite basic - could have used a hand towel and hand soap (shower had soap & shampoo). Good sized deck with day bed and a mini fridge - we were at the far end of the second floor in room 4 and had a nice view as well. Note that the beautifully-carved wood door out to the deck is just secured by a wood slide lock, so it's not very secure or airtight. Breakfast was a choice of one entree and one drink, accompanied by fruits and toast. We'd booked this place because it had a pool... which was being treated the entire time we were there and was unusable, very annoying, and there was no real acknowledgement or customer service gesture like even an extra cup of coffee - disappointing.
