Front desk employees are exceptional , led by Denis, the team did their best to service the guests . They were faced with many challenges and complaints but tried their best to assist. House keeping staff need training and some consistant check list adhered to , as the rooms were never properly cleaned . The windows leaked during my stay , and room flooded . There is no mini bar only a cool box which does not work . There is no equipment at all : no ice available , I was advised to buy it outside, this comes in 5kgs bags ! or from the restaurant which is leased by the hotel and attached to the lobby . No plates, spoons, forks, glasses ( my was chipped and they advised they had no extras . Public areas are littered with cigarette stubs and garbage Towels , pillow cases, sheets are all in poor condition and need to be replaced. My air conditioner was serviced 3 times, but still made loud noises, and rattles needs replacing . Note that of all the staff I spoke to , and I spoke to many as I was in house for a month , non had been working in the property for more than 7 months ..if the adage of the head leading the tail is applied , in this case the head doesn’t lead at all , furthermore the “the head “, general manager , was either busy when I asked to see him or not in the hotel . I would expect a GM to at a least make an effort to contact long stay guests.
