JudgeJustinAfter surviving a passport control queue that felt long enough to qualify as a second flight, walking into 25Hours Hotel Zurich was pure bliss. We’d booked a Large room for our first Valentine’s weekend together, and it was a brilliant call - spacious, beautifully presented, and hitting that elusive sweet spot between ”industrial-chic” and ”actually comfortable.”
The showstopper (quite literally) was the glass shower cubicle standing proudly in the centre of the room. It’s a bold design choice that we loved, and for those who aren’t quite ready to share that much with their partner, it’s easily screened off for a bit of privacy. The free mini-bar and designer coffee were lovely surprises that made us feel like VIPs, and the smart TV’s screen-sharing was a total win; mirroring Netflix from our phones was effortless, making our late-night movie plans a breeze.
The staff were truly excellent. We turned up an hour before the official check-in time, but instead of being sent away to wander the streets, the receptionist checked us in immediately with a genuine smile. Furthermore, after we indulged in slightly more red wine than was perhaps wise the night before, the team graciously allowed us a late check-out with zero fuss and no extra charge. That level of empathy is rare, in my experience.
If you want high-quality, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quirky accommodation in a prime Zurich location, look no further. It even smells fantastic - I’m convinced there’s a designer scent being pumped through the air conditioning. (Note to management: if you sell that fragrance in a bottle, please let me know - I’ll take five!)
We had a highly enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.

Great hotel with fantastic, spacious rooms and really friendly service, from the bar staff to the front desk. It's wonderfully quiet, the beds are superb, and the facilities are excellent. And of course, don't forget the free bikes you can borrow! The complimentary minibar and the great in-room box are always a nice touch too! Would happily stay again!

A very good stay experience. When I first checked in, I was not amazed, and even wanted to complain about the small bed in the triple room. It was a bit casual, right? But after actually checking in, I found that the mattress was very comfortable, the quilt was also very comfortable, and there was a bed-making service at night.
Although the bathroom has a glass door, it was a little awkward when taking a shower, but fortunately it was a family trip, so it was okay.
Here comes the point: I had to catch an early train on the day of check-out, so I didn’t have time to eat breakfast. I went to the front desk to ask if I could pack my breakfast? The front desk professionally took out a service sheet, recorded the room number and the number and content of the packed breakfast, and agreed on the time to pick up the meal in the morning! When I went to pick up the meal in the morning, it was already packed, great 👍🏻!
The location of the hotel is very convenient, the train station and various attractions are within walking distance, suitable for Zurich Citywalk.

MOBMABI was highly disappointed with my stay due to several major issues. First, the room description is completely misleading. I booked a room advertised with a ”City View,” but instead, I was given a room facing an inner courtyard with no city view whatsoever.
Secondly, despite clearly booking for 2 guests, the room amenities were strictly prepared for just one person. We were only provided with one bath towel, one standard pillow, and one large pillow for two guests.
Finally, the blanket was far too small for two guests sharing a Queen-size bed. Even though I am only 167 cm tall, it was impossible to cover my entire body. If I pulled the blanket up to cover my chest, my feet were exposed; if I covered my feet, my chest was exposed. What made it even more unreasonable was that the blanket was so narrow that it could only comfortably cover one person, despite being provided for a Queen-size bed intended for two guests.
I would not recommend this property until these basic hospitality issues are addressed.

Located on a mountain, during the peak season for lilacs, the hotel staff, though shy and professional, diligently served each guest despite their limited English. A special commendation was given to the hotel reception for daily complimentary fresh apples. Their manager, a finance graduate who transitioned to this role to balance work and family, remained remarkably professional and elegant, leaving a lasting impression. Their respect for Chinese culture, their understanding of Sino-Swiss cultural exchange, and their natural conversation about the China-Europe Railway Express made us feel truly valued. Furthermore, everything from breakfast and bedding to honeymoon arrangements and timely directions was impeccable. We are extremely grateful for all of this and wish the hotel continued success!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is great, with convenient public transportation nearby and a supermarket. The surroundings are beautiful. Although the room isn't large, it's well-equipped with amenities like disposable slippers, shampoo, shower gel, and a dental kit. Breakfast is plentiful, and the front desk service is very welcoming and enthusiastic.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable.
Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep.
Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered.
If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

My first visit to Switzerland on my honeymoon was Zurich!
I felt good as soon as I arrived in Zurich and I was satisfied because the accommodation was clean.
It's not as far from the station as I thought:-)
There's nothing you can't find around here and you can walk around Zurich.
It's great to see the night view and go home.

Please be careful of hidden charges when checking in.
The room itself was fine, but the front desk service wasㅠdisappointing. They should clearly explain any additional costs to foreign guests before charging them.
For example, although I stayed alone, I was initially charged city tax for two people without any confirmation.
The receptionist also asked about breakfast very quickly, and I thought it meant I could skip it. However, they were actually asking if I wanted to add breakfast. They never mentioned the price (27 CHF), and since English is not my first language, I didn’t fully understand the situation.
As a result, the breakfast charge was added to my bill without a clear explanation.
I didn t charge their, but the whole experience was uncomfortable and could have been avoided with clearer communication.
I don’t think there was any bad intention, but the communication was unclear and made the experience uncomfortable. This situation could have been avoided with better explanation.

Posted on Jan 1, 2026|Superior | East Wing Building
Anonymous UserI absolutely do not recommend staying in the east wing. To get there, you have to walk through quite a long tunnel from the main building. The rooms are very small, and the bathroom is super cramped too (if you open the door, you have to close it again to use the toilet because there's no space). The room isn't even big enough for two people to sit down and eat takeout.
Furthermore, something I found quite uncomfortable is that the room doesn't have windows that open. I like fresh air, and that makes the atmosphere feel stuffy and dry. When I booked, I didn't check the room type carefully and didn't expect to encounter so many inconveniences.
Before checking in, reception told me I could pay extra to switch to a better room, and that there were many large rooms available in the main building that night. (At hotels like InterContinental or Marriott, in situations like this, I usually get a free upgrade). If there are so many rooms available, I don't understand why they don't let you try one without charge. (I'm just giving my opinion; I know the hotel isn't obligated to do so).
