Longsheng Hotels with Bars

If you get the chance to visit Longji/Longsheng to hike through the amazing rice paddies, then you absolutely must stay at Li'An Lodge. The rooms are lovely, clean and quaint, and a cultural alternative to the more modern options in the larger cities. The lodge is run by Aaron who goes above and beyond to help visitors, give local recs, and speaks perfect English. He will also help you avoid any tourist traps.  Li'An lodge is also built on the highest point so you have a fabulous view, and is situated right at the starting point of the main hike in local area. The rooms give you a great view of the rice paddies and the village.  The food is simple and great, or you can eat around the town, which is very atmospheric. We came in the low season end of March, which was misty but fab and we had most of the places to ourselves.  Really can't recommend enough. If you get to Guilinxi (station) they will send a driver to get you. You can also book directly with the hotel over email with Aaron which is easy and efficient. 

I saw that there was an observation deck so I chose this one. It turned out that I was not disappointed. The view of the B&B observation deck is not worse than the one seen on the observation deck, it is really beautiful. Arrived at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, ordered a good dish in advance, and it didn't take long to eat. My husband said that this level is a very good craftsmanship in the homestay. The dumplings, ducks, green peppers and pork are all delicious. Originally up the mountain because the mountain road winding, everyone was a little motion sickness, arrived with the beautiful scenery eating bad mood swept away. The view of the room is also very good. We booked two rooms in the three big and two small rooms. The double room with a double bed was very spacious. At night, the children wanted to eat instant noodles and ate instant noodles in the room. The projection put a movie, which was an unforgettable memory. In addition, the bed is very soft and comfortable. I rarely sleep at 11 o'clock. I wake up at 9 o'clock in the morning. It is really beautiful to get up early and enjoy breakfast. By the way, the boss also sent us to the No. 2 observation deck. When we went down the mountain, we used the route map specially made by the boss to walk home all the way. Although we were tired, we were also very happy to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the terraces all the way. We will definitely come again if we have a chance in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from guiding us on how to get there to assisting with booking our bus tickets. They were always friendly and very supportive. The food was also excellent. We tried several local dishes and everything we had was truly delicious. Our room had a beautiful view, and everything was thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Longji Rice Terraces. Thank you to the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable.

Nestled in the mountains, the hotel boasts excellent air quality and panoramic mountain views, perfect for relaxation. I tried out all the chairs in the common area, reading, drinking tea, and simply daydreaming. The surrounding area isn't a tourist destination, so an afternoon stroll along the mountain paths offered a charmingly rustic experience, with swaying reeds, wildflowers, wild berries, free-range chickens, and a watchdog... The rooms were tastefully furnished, clean, and tidy. The breakfast was clean and delicious; the fried rice with chili sauce was especially tasty. The chef's skills were excellent. The next morning, we visited the home of a local Yao ethnic minority family. The elderly couple were very welcoming, chatting around a fire and even experiencing spinning on a stone mill.

The hotel owner was very kind and welcoming, and the auntie was very friendly and hospitable. The fried noodles she made were delicious; I ate them twice during my one-night stay. The mountain view was beautiful, but unfortunately it was cloudy and I didn't see the sunrise. I'd love to go again sometime.

The environment was nice; the room was spacious and bright upon entering. However, the service really needs improvement! First, upon entering, there was no one at the front desk on the first floor; I had to go up to the third floor myself. There was also no one at the front desk on the third floor; the staff were all busy with the restaurant. Later, someone came to register me, but it was a perfunctory service; their faces were expressionless, and I didn't experience any ”warm service.” The contrast was huge. I got up at 6:30 am to come from Huangyao Ancient Town. The owner of the guesthouse in Huangyao was waiting for me at 6:30 am, worried I might sleep in, and even drove me out of town, patiently explaining Huangyao's history along the way. For that kind of guesthouse, I would genuinely give it a good review. But here, until my departure, the guesthouse was cold and indifferent; no smiles, no greetings. I went upstairs carrying two suitcases, and no one ever asked if I needed a helping hand. In short, this guesthouse lacked warmth. Objectively speaking, the facilities were okay, and the location was also acceptable.

Absolutely incredible experience! The room features massive floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed views, allowing you to gaze at the terraced fields right from your bed. It also comes with a bathtub and a smart toilet, and all the facilities are brand new. Upon check-in, we were treated to ancient tree black tea and Longji rice wine. There's also a convenient shuttle service from Dazhai parking lot. The owner is incredibly thoughtful and the service is very warm. They even have a restaurant on-site serving authentic local dishes. Highly recommended!

I'd like to share my experience staying at this lodge during my trip to the terraced fields. The lodge is situated right within the scenic area, and its substantial size in these mountains far exceeded my expectations. It features traditional stilt house architecture, showcasing a distinctive ethnic charm. All guest rooms are equipped with spacious balconies, offering guests breathtaking, immersive views of the terraced fields. Standing on the balcony, a gentle morning breeze brushes past as the green waves of the terraced fields shimmer under the sun, truly like stepping into a picturesque landscape. Notably, the hotel is also equipped with an elevator, providing immense convenience for guests. This makes navigating with luggage or assisting elderly guests and children significantly easier. Overall, with its spacious balcony views, stringent hygiene standards, and convenient elevator service, this hotel ensures a comfortable and delightful stay. It's a highly recommended choice for both business travelers and leisure seekers. The owner even led us to the fields to catch fish, which was a truly memorable experience!

First of all, let me say that the proprietress of the B&B is very friendly and enthusiastic, which is very impressive. It can be said that if I have any difficulties, they will help me solve them. I am an elder and a child, the younger one is only 2 years old (I understand everything), there is a lot of luggage and a large population. But the boss lady tried her best to make it convenient for us. The environment and layout of the accommodation are basically consistent with the promotional pictures. The B&B is relatively clean and hygienic, with no peculiar smell. If you are traveling by car, be careful not to bring too much luggage when you go to the B&B, as you still have to walk a short distance. The mountain road is long, so be careful when driving. The mountain road is narrow, just enough for driving.

The boss is so kind! Enthusiasm and kindness! , Because I took my wheelchair with my dad, I went to Longji facing the ramp and immediately went in a circle. After contacting the boss, he helped with luggage and the wheelchair. I am very grateful to the boss, Brother Liao, for his help. Another objective compliment is that Liqing’s location is better. The room has an invincible terraced field view, which allows people to get a glimpse of the terraced fields from the moment they enter the room, watching the clouds and mist, and the relative price is really super cost-effective! share!
