"I was absolutely blown away by this 'Sky Garden' B&B! The views are truly unbeatable, with terraced fields stretching out before you. In the mornings and evenings, the mist rolls in, making it feel like you're living in a fairy tale. The room gets great natural light, it's clean and tidy, and the facilities are brand new, making for a super comfortable stay. The food at the B&B is incredibly authentic; the local dishes are so flavorful and perfectly suited my taste, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The service was thoughtful and attentive; they arranged everything for our outings and activities, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Plus, there are plenty of Instagrammable spots for amazing photos. It offers fantastic value for money, perfect for either a relaxing getaway or a photography trip. Highly recommend!"

"My friend and I came here because it's a new opening, and it truly exceeded our expectations! After checking in, we found our room to be incredibly well-designed, with a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the terraced fields – every photo we took looked amazing, and the view was simply stunning. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, which was a nice touch. The vanity mirror outside had excellent lighting, perfect for makeup in the morning, and it was spotless. The guesthouse's public areas, like the colorful children's playground, were so vibrant and fun that even as adults, we enjoyed them and thought they were great for photos. There were a few kids playing there at the time, making it very lively and cheerful. The service at the guesthouse was super warm and friendly, and they even gave us lovely souvenirs when we left. The whole experience was genuinely fantastic."

GGuest UserThe room looks exactly like the pictures on Trip.com, directly facing the rice terraces. I really have to commend this guesthouse run by local villagers in Jinkeng Village! The owner even carried our luggage to the room with a shoulder pole. I loved the style of the small courtyard, the rooftop, and the lobby – cozy, bright, and natural wood tones. The guesthouse service exceeded our expectations. They told us the best times to photograph the terraces for that mirror-like effect, introduced us to nearby attractions, and even offered a free fish-catching activity. They sent us the menu via WeChat in advance. The chives and small fish we ordered for dinner were freshly picked and caught from the owner's own garden. The complimentary iced rice wine was absolutely delicious. These honest villagers truly welcome every guest with all their heart.

GGuest UserStepping inside, I was immediately struck by the house itself; it truly felt like a 'breathing building,' with a gentle breeze constantly circulating. It was incredibly quiet, and I instantly felt myself relax. The room faced due east, making sunrise views absolutely spectacular. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and showering with mountain spring water in the smart bathroom was a treat. The cleanliness was divine – I didn't even mind walking barefoot on the floor. The personalized butler service was also very thoughtful, making it feel like staying at an old friend's house for a few days.

TTheresaCrumbI stayed 3 nights, ate every dinner there and would absolutely come again! I was super lucky to get an upgrade on arrival (see photo of the view from my balcony 7am in the morning) I‘d read that staying 3 nights was too long, but for me it was perfect. I did the dazhai to ping‘an hike one day and took the gondola up the next day. On my last morning they even drove me down to the parking lot to get on the right bus. Super sweet! Only minor issue: my room was a non-smoker room and it really did not smell of smoke at all unless I tried to use the aircon. Somehow the air coming out of the aircon smelled of smoke. For me that wasn‘t a huge issue as I decided not to use the aircon & was fine.

SSardanSaasExcellent location , in the Dazhai village center, easy 7 minute walk to the Dazhai parking lot for the cable car and the local buses to Ping'an and long hair show village (forgot the name). You can also walk to three observation platforms from the foothill to hilltop. Room: spacious, clean, with all the amenities as described. Hosts: a young couple with kids and mother, nice, welcoming people. Although they do not speak English, you can easily communicate via WeChat. They helped me with booking a bus to Guilin. The hotel is recommended for nice views and local village experience. I would like to have a menu, as well as a sketch map of the area with observation platforms, villages, hiking routes in English. Information on local events and local but routes/ schedules would also be helpful for non-Chinese tourists.

GGuest UserThe inn is located in Tiantouzhai. It is a few steps away from the observation deck. I personally feel that it is the best in several observation decks. It should belong to the second highest, but it is most suitable for watching the sunrise and watching the panoramic view. Good luck (good weather, and the beginning or end of the lunar month), you can see the stars on the hotel terrace at night, but it will be late, and after some of the surrounding lights are turned off. The overall atmosphere is very healing, suitable for a few days after the road, calm down and relax. The store service is very good, the proprietress cooks a good dish, very rare, suitable for the public taste. The inn can book a ticket back to Guilin. When I left, the boss was very enthusiastic and helped to send it to the entrance of the scenic spot to take the bus 🚌.

GGuest UserI came here with the expectation of revisiting the old place, and now I left with satisfaction. The weather was good, and we had both sunrise and mirror. Located at the highest observation deck, it is estimated that only the No. 1 observation deck can best appreciate the beauty of the mirror, because only here has sufficient water in the past few days, and there is no water release on the No. 2 side. The panoramic building is worthy of the panoramic view. The facilities are not bad, the bedding is very comfortable, the food is also good, and the luggage is sent up and down the mountain by a special person. Although the altitude is about 1,200 meters, it is easy to get up, and the boss is easy to get along with. Finally, a small suggestion, the shampoo is relatively dry, it is recommended to add conditioner as an option.

Standing on the balcony, you can see the terraces, which is very beautiful. The boss is very enthusiastic, free breakfast, delicious rice noodles. The scenery is pure countryside, and the food is all authentic farm fruits, vegetables, chicken, duck, beef, and mutton, all free-range and pollution-free, sourced from local farmers. The staff are friendly and attentive. The B&B is spacious and clean. It's probably the best B&B within a ten-mile radius. The rooms are even more comfortable than expected, with Haofa suites, family rooms, and standard rooms available to meet all needs.
