Pet Friendly Hotels in Longsheng

The location is great, just a seven or eight-minute walk from the Ping'anzhai observation deck. The scenery is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains. Opening the balcony door from your room feels like you're living in the clouds. We went during the off-season, so there weren't many people. The guesthouse has a traditional Chinese architectural style, all solid wood, and the materials used are very substantial. The only downside is that you have to park in a designated parking lot quite far from the hotel, pay a high parking fee, and then buy an electric cart ticket to get up there. You can clearly drive up yourself, which I found very confusing and inconvenient.

The hotel features a stunning terrace with breathtaking views of the valley. The rain and heavy fog actually enhanced the scenery, making the landscape feel wild, thrilling, and completely immersed in nature. Huge compliments to the reception team—the staff is super kind and incredibly helpful. This is the perfect place to stay for a true, local experience in the real China.h

Our stay was really nice and we enjoyed the view, fresh air and nature. The service was also friendly and helpful. She was really patient with our translating and was so kind to book us a car to get us to our next destination. We will for sure remember her kindness. Further, we must recommend her dish: beef potatoes. It was sooo tasty and spiced like Chinese-Western cuisine. Important: Our arrival was quite a journey booking a driver to drive us from Guilin to Longji. You must know that it is far away and you can’t drive to the hotel, only to the entry of the Longji Scenic area. There you have to buy tickets for the area if you did not book it in advance. There are some discounts for specific people, just translate the sign with the prices. After paying the entry ticket, you should buy a ticket for the sightseeing bus to take you up to your hotel. It is really a long way - wouldn’t recommend walking uphill to the hotel. The bus ticket also includes a return from your hotel back to the entry. Overall, recommending visiting the area and staying at the hotel.

This hotel is located straight on the path up to the best viewing platform of the village - and on the path to Dazhai. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, we arrived by bus at the entrance of the village and a guy was already waiting there to drive us up the last meters to the hotel. Also we could wash our clothes in their big hotel washing machine. Overall I can heavily recommend to stay in this place.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to the attractions. The terraced fields are stunning, and the hotel facilities are among the best B&Bs in the area. The owner is very kind, helping us arrange transportation to Huangluo and even giving us two complimentary sightseeing bus tickets. This trip was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. I just want to sneak a peek!

All in all an extremely pleasant stay! The location is absolutely stunning. Sure, it might be a little bit off the beaten track, but the views are all the more rewarding and the hiking path from Dazhai is also highly recommended. The hotel lobby also functions as a big living room and a little restaurant run by the owners. The food is excellent and well priced (definitely try their rice wine!). Because we were there in winter and it was cold, the owners even put a small radiator under our table to make it comfortable. Generally, the owners were super nice and friendly and adding their absolutely adorable puppy, we almost couldn't bring ourselves to leave. The rooms were very clean, have a small separate bathroom and we had a small balcony with view over the rice terraces. For a more budget option there is also rooms without AC or view, in that case you can still enjoy quite a bit of the scenery from the living room downstairs or just by exploring the surroundings on foot. (The picture is shot from our balcony, but sadly some of the view was obscured by the winter mist.) We will definitely try to come again sometime in summer and are already excited thinking about staying in this hotel again.

Initially hard to find using apple maps. Contacted the owner who through wechat and translate sent the location but we had to have her father to collect us by foot on the main street, we were 2 minutes away but it's a windy collection of stone steps and alleyways. Stayed in a double room, clean and tidy. Good strong shower and hot water and effective WiFi and air con. Easy access to main viewing points situated between the 2 main look outs. Be prepared to climb steps and wear good footwear as slippery when wet. Hotel offers breakfast lunch and dinner. We opted for breakfast which we requested the night before. Large bowl of chicken Noodle soup for 15 yuan. Great to start the day.

This folk hotel is truly amazing! The scenery is pure countryside, and the food is all authentic farm fruits, vegetables, chicken, duck, beef, and mutton, all free-range and pollution-free, sourced from local farmers. The staff are friendly and attentive. The B&B is spacious and clean. It's probably the best B&B within a ten-mile radius. The rooms are even more comfortable than expected, with Haofa suites, family rooms, and standard rooms available to meet all needs.

Good location, comfortable bed, beautiful view, delicious food, pick up and drop off! All the key points have been achieved! During the National Day, I stayed alone in the Tingfeng double bed room, which was of good quality and low price, with a balcony and large windows. The location halfway up the mountain is easy to get up and down. The outside of the balcony looks like Figures 3 and 4. When you go out, turn left and go up to the Golden Buddha Summit Observation Deck. Turn right to the Thousand Layer Terraces Observation Deck. If you have enough time, be sure to stay for one or two nights. Watch the sunrise and sunset, watch the clouds roll and relax.
