AAzy AbdullahSaw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to.
We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist.
Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness.
The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria.
Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day
The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels.
A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort.
Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean.
The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in.
Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle.
There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed.
The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted.
TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied.
Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up.
Pool is open from 7am to 9pm.
Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k.
The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything.
Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.
LLoveTravelHTWLStaying here feels comfortable, modern, and welcoming. Itâs especially suited for business travelers, families, and anyone arriving via ferry. If nightlife and shopping are priorities, you may prefer Nagoya Hills, but for convenience and upscale service, Grand Mercure Batam Centre is a strong choice.

MMimyoTravelsOverall, really really satisfied with this place! Booked this hotel with my family of 4. Firstly, the room we book is definitely big enough of all of us :) To be able to have dinner on a table, and having 2 toilets, is really great! SUPER big shoutout to the hotel breakfast - it is one of the best I've ever seen. Absolutely huge, and have probably everything you may expect of a southeast asian breakfast :) Regarding location, yes there are not a lot of things you can do within walking distance, but there is a small mini mart just 3 minutes walk away if you want to grab some snacks or drinks. They also provide shuttle bus service to some selected malls - which is great! We did use this service to Grand Batam Mall :) You will have to inform the concierge beforehand just so they can make sure the mini bus will have enough seats for everyone. However, a slight disappointment happened after - after we arrived at Grand Batam Mall, the driver asked if we would like a ride back later (which is so kind of him), I told him I'm not so sure yet - if I'll need one, I'll send a Whatsapp to their front desk. 30 minutes before I decided to book the mini bus back, I sent a Whatsapp which no one replied, so ended up booking a gojek back to the hotel 30 minutes later. Which makes me wonder if what was the point of the hotel having a Whatsapp haha! It would have been nice if someone replied, even if rejecting me for last minute booking, which I am totally fine with :)
Nonetheless, thats the only small point I think the hotel can improve on. The rest of the staff are SOOOO friendly!!! The facilities in the hotel (gym, pool, restaurants) are also clean, looks new, and high end as these are shared facilities with the neighbouring Wyndham Panbil (5 stars). I will 100% recommend everyone to come here, and I would love to return again some day ^^
CC CyrilRoom is spacious. Cleanliness -neat and tidy. However, I will rate it as fair. Reason : Despite staying at the non-smoking level, the smoky smell lingers in the air( room, corridor......etc). I am unsure of the reason . Could it be due to the air-conditioning unit?
Breakfast provided - Indonesia- style. Some dishes were tasty.
Service- Superb!Staff are friendly and courteous.
Convenience - not near to the shopping malls. However, it does provide 1-way feeder service to the malls at stipulated timings. Nevertheless, Grab car service is available in Batam. Journeys from malls to hotel is short.
CChengzhen YuRecently stayed at Montigo with my family as it was my boyâs birthday celebration, and wanted to share our experience.
Upon check-in, there was some issue between their system and my booking through the app, which took more than 30 minutes to resolve. Luckily the place wasnât crowded, and my kids didnât get bored while waiting.
One thing I liked was the baggage delivery service from place to place. Requests can be made through WhatsApp and their response was pretty fast, which made things quite convenient.
Currently, one of the restaurants is under renovation, so we had lunch at Tiigo. Personally, I didnât really enjoy the food, but I have to give credit to the view â that was easily a 10/10.
As for the room, we had some issues with the bathroom design/drainage. Water in the bathing area didnât drain properly and would get trapped at one side of the bathroom. The bathtub water would also flow into the toilet area, making the whole floor wet, especially when my kids were playing in the bathtub.
It became quite slippery and my kids actually took turns falling in the bathroom, which was a little concerning from a safety perspective.
On the positive side, because it was my boyâs birthday celebration, they were very thoughtful and kind enough to prepare birthday decorations and a cake for him, which was a really nice touch and made the experience feel special.
Overall, despite a few areas that could be improved, especially the bathroom setup in our room, we still enjoyed the stay and appreciated their service. I would still come back again, but probably not choose the same room.
CChrichillI had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my husband and son, where I celebrated my birthday. The room was clean and comfortable, and all staff were courteous and attentive.
Special thanks to the General Manager, Mr. Bart, for being kind and approachable. It is no wonder the team is excellent under your leadership. Thank you as well for the complimentary drinks. I also commend Pritty for her excellent service at the restaurant. The food was very good, especially the carbonara.

GGuest UserI'm giving five stars to the hotel driver, the service was absolutely excellent! You can contact the hotel the day before check-in to arrange a pick-up from the ferry drop-off point, and when you're ready to leave, you can also book a free ride from the hotel to the pier. It's incredibly convenient. We were so lucky to have this driver; he proactively helped us with our luggage, assisted us with our visa on arrival, and even filled out our immigration cards... The service was top-notch! The hotel environment is also fantastic. Everything about this trip was great, apart from the bad weather. I'll definitely be back!
AAnonymous UserI had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition.
However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room.
The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another roomđđđ
AAnonymous UserGood location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.
