It's a great location for a walk on the beach near the Arc de Triomphe in Barcelona. The hotel's facilities and staff are overall excellent. However, it was a bit inconvenient to have to walk about 10 minutes to the downtown area to eat, but other than that, it was quiet and very nice.

So what’s going on, European hotels have small rooms with average sound insulation, but they’re worth the price. It costs 28 Euros to take a taxi from the airport. The breakfast is okay. Jamon, ham and bread are all good, but there are only a few of them.

Motel one is all about the design and the detail. Rooms are basic but the bar and breakfast area is beautiful and there’s a lovely rooftop terrace with great views of the city. All of the staff I dealt with were great( only issue is check in was very slow so maybe more staff are needed, there were long queues everyday) special mention to the bartender ( from argentina didn’t catch his name) made excellent cocktails and a really nice guy.

Rooms smaller than average Motel One. For work better use the roof top terrace (very nice) or the lobby.

Everything was fantastic! It was just me during my stay and while the room was small, I was perfectly fine with it. The only negative was some people were in the hall at 4am and I woke up startled because it sounded like they were actually in my room! They were very loud and walls very thin. Other than that, decor was beautiful, staff friendly, very clean and very close to everything Barcelona has to offer! Would stay again!

A good space for a solo traveler. A clean try room with air conditioning and a safety box.
Bus stations are nearby and a metro station is just 6 minutes away. You must try a rooftop bar.
