I liked the rooms, the pool, beach and the staff overall. It was rough to ride the trolley back and forth from that lobby to the rooms multiple times a day. Not easy for people with mobility issues. Also the concierge was not very good at communicating. We felt confused by her vague instructions and often could not reach them. The gentlemen who helped with the excursions was excellent though! And so was the food staff, etc. restaurants were nice but they should tell people that you have to book your dinner reservations at least 2 days in advance in order to eat anywhere except the buffet. So disappointed that we didn't get to eat everywhere we payed for. The spa was excellent!

Our concierge was the best! Kilvania made sure we had what we needed, checked in on us every morning, had gifts for the kids in the room, and made sure we were comfortable from arrival to the time we left.

For starters we were greeted by the bell hops that treated us with so much grace, next with a welcome drink that was so refreshing, then our check in with Ms. Sandra Carrasco was exceptionally pleasant, easy and informative. We also had our special treat Ms. Kilvania Valerio that catered to our every need and also surprised me with a cake and wine for my birthday celebration.

The beach was nice but was a long walk from our unit, the level pool and yoga/activity instructor was great.
We didn’t like the accommodations because the windows were thin single pane and you could hear the traffic that drove by and the music at night…yes traffic the property is so big vehicles are driving by to take people to the beach and service the property a lot.

The Melia Caribe resort was really beautiful and clean. The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. We had a personal concierge… Anny Liriano De Leon… she was excellent and assisted in any way that she could. The overall experience was amazing

The Melia Caribe Beach resort was a perfect all inclusive experience. It was safe, clean, quiet, restaurants were fabulous and the beaches turquoise blue gorgeous and calm. Will definitely go back in April. Our Concierge, Kilvania Valerio was fantastic, helpful and very accommodating. I recommend this resort highly!

We just returned from a weeklong stay at the Melia Caribe Beach Resort. We loved the grounds. The beach was beautiful albeit a bit overrun with vendors. My daughter was approached every few minutes by hair braiders, but they were all friendly and moved on if you just said no thank you. We did have a leak in our bathroom ceiling that started pouring into the bathroom on day 5 of our stay. Our concierge got maintenance to arrive within about an hour. We stayed at the Level two bedroom suite. It was perfectly comfortable for our family though I did notice that some of the other suites had washer/dryer and microwaves which would have been nice. Also, the room service menu had a margarita pizza on it, but my sons tried to order it a few times and were told it wasn’t an option. It wasn’t a huge deal, but they were hoping for pizza a few times late at night. They found they could easily go over to the Riviera buffet and get some snacks or desserts effortlessly.
Overall everyone went out of their way to make our vacation just what we were hoping for. We loved it.

We worked with Anny Liriano and we was warm, responsive and extremely helpful. She ensured we had dinner reservations every night and that any concern or request was answered in a timely manner.
Would recommend this resort to my friends.
