We recently spent 4 wonderful nights at Kafuu and thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience. Highlights Service & Hospitality: The staff provided exceptional service throughout our stay, always welcoming, professional, and attentive to our needs. Dining: Overall, the food options were fantastic and added a lot of flavor to our holiday. Cleanliness: The rooms and property were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment. Eco-Friendly Program: We loved the option to opt out of daily housekeeping in exchange for a 1,000 yen credit—it's a brilliant, eco-friendly initiative that rewards sustainable choices while cutting down on waste. Room for Improvement Breakfast Selection: While most of the food was great, the Western breakfast option felt a bit lackluster and could use a bit more variety or a culinary refresh. Overall, it is a fantastic resort with great attention to detail, and we would happily return for another visit!

Here are some detailed tips: 1. **Transportation**: You can take the Limousine Bus (CD line) directly from Naha Airport to the hotel entrance. The last bus departs at 6 PM. Look for the 'Airport - Domestic Terminal' direction, and purchase your ticket at Gate 2. Cash payment is required. The hotel front desk can book a return bus to the airport/Naha Bus Terminal, but only morning departures are available. The bus stop is located just a short walk to the left after exiting the hotel. The journey typically takes 1.5 hours. 2. **Dining**: I recommend booking a stay that includes breakfast; the buffet breakfast is excellent, and you can enjoy it with ocean views. For dinner, you can purchase the buffet on-site. Remember to use the 10% discount coupon provided by the hotel. Dining options nearby are limited; about 100 meters from the hotel, there's only one shabu-shabu restaurant, which also offers sukiyaki. 3. **Shopping**: The hotel has a souvenir shop and a convenience store, but prices are a bit high. About 100 meters from the hotel, across the road, there's a Family Mart convenience store with reasonable prices. 4. **Facilities**: All water sports activities on the beach incur extra charges, but the pricing is transparent. The outdoor and indoor pools are free, and the indoor pool is heated. There's a fee for the hot springs, which varies depending on the time of day, with mornings being cheaper and evenings most expensive. I suggest going in the afternoon; it opens after 4 PM, there are fewer people, and you can enjoy the beach view. It's located near the indoor pool on the first floor and can be a bit hard to find, so ask a staff member for directions. It costs 600 JPY per person in the afternoon. If you opt out of room cleaning, the hotel provides a 1000 JPY voucher that can be used at the hotel's hot springs, restaurants, or convenience store. 5. **Rooms**: The rooms are generally clean. Remember to request a high floor from the staff, especially if you've booked an ocean view room. Late check-ins might only get lower-floor rooms, but it's worth trying to get a higher floor; while all ocean view rooms offer a sea view, the perspective differs significantly. 6. **Surroundings**: You can take a taxi to Onna Station, which is like a service area with some snack stalls and a supermarket. Everything was perfect, staff was kind and helpfull, food was very good for both breakfast and dinner, the location is amazing and we were often completly alone on their private beach (as it might've been too cold for the locals). Lots of nice and cozy restaurants arpund the hotel as well, you can get there by ”airport bus limousine”, when you're not acustomedto.how it works it looks a little scary but just go to the counter when you arrive to the airport and they'll help you out! Just know that you're in zone B Onna Village, make sure to vheck the time of departure online beforehand as you might need to sleep a noght in Naha if you arrive too late. Theres also a lot of activities nearby, I greatly recommend the snorkling/scooba diving.

I saw reviews mentioning the North Building being older, but my stay there this time completely changed my mind. The facilities are well-maintained, and the room was quite spacious, with plenty of room in the bathroom, bedroom, and balcony! The breakfast selection was relatively limited, and the dishes didn't change much over my two-day stay, but it was acceptable. The hotel is very close to the beach; you step right out onto it, and the sea view is perfect. The water is clear, and the swimming area is open until 5:30 PM, after which swimming is not allowed. To use amenities like beach chairs, golf, water kayaking, and the sauna (seven or eight items in total), you need to purchase a pass at check-in, which then grants free use. Other water activities like snorkeling require an extra fee (you can rent life jackets, goggles, and snorkels to snorkel independently in the hotel's sea area, and there are quite a few small fish near the reefs). Notably, the hotel's seaside boardwalk is beautiful! Few people venture there, especially at sunset, when the scenery is absolutely stunning. The maga zip line charges hotel guests the same as other visitors, which is interesting. It's definitely worth trying.

If you are looking to stay on the main island of Okinawa without taking extra flights to outer islands like Ishigaki, this is hands down the best hotel for a family vacation with kids. What we absolutely loved: * Stunning beach and nature: The beach is perfect and super safe for children. There is an incredibly beautiful, winding path along the shore. The rocky coastline, scenic caves, and lush tropical plants make walking around a magical experience. * A winning hotel chain: We highly recommend combining your trip with their sister property. If you do travel to Ishigaki, stay at ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort—it is easily one of the finest hotels on that island. Both resorts represent the absolute top tier of hospitality. * Flawless service despite flight issues: Our only complaint about the entire trip goes to ANA Airlines, as our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by 8 hours, which was quite exhausting. However, this is strictly an airline issue. It has nothing to do with the hotels themselves and their wonderful, dedicated staff who did an impeccable job. The local Okinawans at the resort are the sweetest and most welcoming people. Between the brilliant service, incredible nature, and great facilities, this was a dream vacation!

The location is excellent! You can take a bus directly from DFS in Shintoshin, and it stops right at the hotel entrance. While the room facilities are a bit old, the rooms are very spacious, perfect for family trips. There's a commercial street downstairs with a Starbucks and an Okinawa specialty supermarket. Getting to the aquarium is also convenient, with a shuttle bus service available for round trips. After a full day out, you can easily find dinner downstairs, and there's even an ice cream truck! We really enjoyed our two-night stay.

Value for money. The room was spacious featuring a tatami area, a large bathroom and a kitchen. *No pots or plates etc* A convenience store directly opposite and many restaurants within walking distance. Free parking is also a great bonus. Despite being located on a main road, the room was quiet and comfortable. Decent playground next to it, good for family with kids. There are also few diving centres around the corner.

The hotel is located right on the beach, within easy walking distance of the sea. While the hotel is quite old, the rooms are large and clean. I mean, really clean. There's a designated parking area, which is great. Breakfast is up to standard and delicious.

Excellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!
