Everything about the stay was great. The location was superb - a short 2-minute walk from the station, perfect for my day trips to the Cinque Terre, and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The room itself included a large en-suite, a tv, mini fridge, large wardrobe, air conditioning and a super comfy bed. I also had breakfast included and this (especially the regular cappuccino order I had each morning which they remembered!) was very nice - a good selection of breads, cakes, pastries and cold meats. All of the staff were very friendly and happy to help.

I've just come back from a 4 night stay here - I can't recommend it highly enough. It has everything I want....charm, good location to explore the region, lovely staff, good (cheap) breakfast, perfectly clean - I could go on.... I was in room 15 which was lovely - slight knack to the door key but hey - at least it wasn't electronic! Bonassola is a quiet place but perfect for exploring the area. The Pensione is roughly 1 minute from the railway station which connects the village to the rest of the Cinque Terre. It's also in the centre of the little village so you can get to the bars and restaurants without even thinking of getting in the car. There is a lovely area to park the car and the whole thing worked for me. And my 3 friends too. It's not the Ritz Carleton or the Four Seasons. Thank goodness for a real characterful hotel. Been in same family for ages.

Unique family ran business. We liked that we were able to book on the same day. Very affordable. We stayed only one night. Third floor no elevator.

The place is a beautiful little pesion with alot of character. Close to the train track so it is s bit loud but very close to the beach👍

Mostly it is a good structure that has allowed us to spend a very pleasant holiday. In addition to some more obvious flaws, I noticed a lack of attention to detail, but these are details for which I fly over them (even if they contribute to making the three stars seem a bit "pulled"). The good things: air conditioning in all rooms; discreet bathrooms, a line at the window to hang out a few wet things (a utility not to be overlooked); good food; the possibility of using the tables and chairs outdoors for lunch to eat something independently (the restaurant is not active at lunch); a shaded and cool outdoor area; free parking for cars; proximity to the center and the beaches; the convenience of the station a few steps from the hotel. A few really bad things: the TV is too small in the room; the proximity of the railway, which in the room you can hear relatively, but at meals the trains make you jump from your chair.
