Located 10 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and 25 minutes from Lake Placid, our wilderness retreat is the perfect respite.AuSable Acres offers 10 miles of hiking/snowshoeing/cross-country ski trails, a lake for fishing as well as tennis & pickleball courts.The spaceEnjoy our peaceful and secluded 4 bedroom 2 bathroom chalet-style cabin that sits on approx 1 acre. The ground floor offers two bedrooms with a Queen sized bed and a full sized bed. There is also a full bath. The washer and dryer are in the second bedroom for your use.On the main floor, there is a bedroom with a twin to king trundle and a full bathroom. The living room offers a dining table for 4 , a wood-burning stove, TV and access to the deck.PLEASE NOTE:The deck has lower banisters and railings than today's standards, so please be aware if you have small children.The loft offers a queen sized bed. It stays toasty in the winter with a roaring fire!There is a mini-split system in the main room and the basement. The mini-split upstairs carries well through the kitchen, loft and bedroom.Guest accessThe entire chalet and forested land is yours to call home. Take off your shoes, kick up your feet & get cozy!Before check-in we will give you a unique code to access the chalet.PLEASE remove your shoes when you first walk into the basement or the main floor from the deck.Other things to notePLEASE DO NOT WEAR YOUR SHOES INSIDE THE CHALET!Please treat our chalet with the same respect as you would your own home.SUMMER GUESTS PLEASE NOTE- There are 3 blow-up paddle boards in the bedroom closets for your use.WINTER GUESTS PLEASE NOTE- There is a plow service all season.
