The room was small but clean. However on attempting to eat in the evening we were given a menu that was stuffy with a list of food suitable only for ravenous teenagers who don’t care what they eat. We sat at a table which was so dirty and sticky that we left immediately. Would not reccomend this Hotel to anyone.

I’ve been staying in Hotels for 50 years. This is without a doubt the worst one I have stayed in. Filthy. Mould all over shower room. Top floor and shower pressure close to zero. Toilet flush didn’t work. Toilet light didn’t work. No decor, no mirror, no chair, no draws. Stairs a death trap. Carpets threadbare. Cracks and dents galore. Should not be called a Hotel. On checking out, cascade of water coming from the first floor ceiling. Was going tho request a refund but nobody about. Just as you go up the stairs there is a notice saying don’t go up the stairs with dirty shoes on! Only stayed as booked for one night and (why the one star) the bedding was clean. Not just me, have a gander at the other reviews.

This is the absolutely most appalling hotel to stay in. The 'bathroom' in the room is merely a converted cupboard, with a broken shower that was not adequate to wash in, mould all around it and soaked the whole carpet floor - as the door had to be left open since the extractor fan was broken and the heat from the shower set all the smoke alarms!! The bed is not adequate for an adult to sleep in and I was digusted to find female products left in the bed - which leads me to think the bedsheets hadn't even been changed in between guests!!! The 'tea' making facilities in the room are laughable and the maid didn't even bother to restock it on the last 2 days of my stay, so not even a hot drink in the morning after another shocking nights sleep. A plug socket was broken, the TV was hanging off the wall on one hook and the curtains are the most flimsy, cheapest things, so don't do anything to block the light. The maid likes to open & slam the other bedroom doors from around 5am most days - along with the staff of the pub having very loud conversations in the garden first thing in the morning. This a mid range price hotel when I booked it, but in all honesty the hotel should PAY YOU to even consider staying there - avoid at all costs!!

Room was nice, bathroom was.... Different.. But perfectly OK, unfortunately there was no breakfast, but what makes this place great is the staff. Absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful, funny and entertaining, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great atmosphere, Food was nice too. Good parking.

Very close to the worst hotel we've stayed in over the past 15 odd years. The rooms are tiny, the electrics are dangerous, the service is non existent, as well as being a very very busy pub at the weekend, with a DJ blasting out music until the early hours, there are constant fights, on the carpark on a weekend. And you would have to be physically fit and a candidate for a mountain climber to negotiate the numerous staircases. We would not under any circumstances recommend this place to anyone. It has obviously had a lot of money spent on the gardens, and the outside "party" area ....... But apart from that, it's somewhere to avoid at all costs.

DO NOT trust this hotel (well, it definitely isn't a hotel)!! We use B&Bs, hotels/motels all over the country for work and this is without doubt the worst place we have had the misfortune to stay at for a long time. We didn't expect much but we do expect places to be clean, and this is not! Lets just say, you don't want to take your shoes off, or you clothes for that matter! This room was booked for 3 nights but i moved out after the first night and paid for a Travelodge. What you should really be aware of is the following: The Admiral Cunningham charged for the 3 nights on check IN - this was via *******, so i didn't know this until i saw the money go out of the bank! so i now have no invoice to claim expenses. I informed ******* i had moved out of the hotel after one night but they have not helped to resolve the situation, they send a few emails but never read what i have said, and seem to answer a question that hasn't been asked? 🤷‍♂️ So, in short - Do not stay at the Admiral Cunningham, its horrible. And, beware of ******* - if things don't go well they won't help, but they will give your payment details to anyone and relinquish any responsibility!! 🤬
