As expectation. Recommended for business

Good strategic location and near to amenities. Second time visit to this hotel as we booked the room with bigger space especially the Naripan Wing. Breakfast was good with many varieties and the service was excellent especially the doorman (Sugeng) was very friendly and helpful. Will recomend to friends in S’pore!!

Old rooms need reno.. not enough power points.. bedside no PowerPoint to charge phone. Bathroom very old and needs work. Pool has cracked tiles need repairs. Old gym so didn’t use. Internet would often disconnect randomly and annoying. Good location for weekend and night activities. Concierge Mr Sugeng and other concierges were the friendliest and helpful during my time that made me thru the week.

First time staying at this hotel, coming home from rafting from Pangalengan, I deliberately ordered here because I was tired and wanted to soak in warm water, and the information on the DELUXE type application that we ordered had a bathtub... when checking in Ms. Ambar said that I ordered a "STANDARD" room type. and it doesn't have a bathtub huhuhu very disappointed, angry and annoyed, whatever with a standard room or suite but this really doesn't match the description they wrote... after a few minutes we were in the "STANDARD" room, Ms. Ambar called and apologized and upgraded our room to the one with a bathtub.. quite appreciative and with the recovery service, but if I may suggest the front office should take quicker steps before the customer feels disappointed, especially if the mistake is from the hotel 🙏 even though we ordered the most standard room, we don't expect upgrade, we just want our room facilities to match the description we read... thank you...

The location is right in the middle of the city, close to tourist spots such as the Asia Africa Museum and this hotel itself is also the oldest hotel that was used by Asian and African leaders during the 1955 conference. Several famous people have also stayed here. Breakfast is quite okay, there is local food and hotel standards (toast, eggs etc.) It is quite clean and well maintained, especially the hotel's external parts such as the lobby, but it is time for the rooms to be replaced with new ones.

This time I was a little disappointed with the service at this hotel, before coming I called with a reservation asking for a non-smoking room and it was confirmed that the reservation could be on the 5th floor, when I checked the front office the room said it was a smoking room (even though I asked for help because I was bringing small children) It still doesn't work, room 306 smells of cigarettes from the moment you leave the elevator, until the room gets a really musty smell, the mattress and pillows also look like the sheets and covers have never been replaced. I've asked for an extra bed & I've confirmed that I want to pay, the reservation says just pay later when you check. so that when I arrived I immediately took a break, but it turned out to be just right until it hadn't been installed yet. It's a bit strange that the reservation and FO sections don't seem to be in sync. And the saddest thing is that finally the children finished staying here and were sick with coughing all because of the smell of cigarettes. Sorry, this is the first time I have given a complaint comment to the hotel, because I was very disappointed with what I got. With the hotel price that has been paid, it turns out that you get a very bad room. But the friendliness of the staff is really good here. Because maybe everyone is very senior.

This time I came to Bandung to stay at this hotel. I took the high-speed train from Jakarta to Bandung and booked it on Ctrip. This hotel is very old and the room facilities are relatively poor, far from five-star standards. But the hotel buffet breakfast is really great! The gym on the hotel platform is relatively small, and the swimming pool is relatively small.

Old hotel, super spacious room for sure (for the same budged as 3+/4 stars), but it's been renovated. Hotel room amenities are adequate for a 3+/4 star hotel. It is recommended for guests to bring their own additional power socket. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Apparently the first 5 star hotel in Bandung. Dates back to the colonial times. Grand but dated and well worn. Pros: Large rooms. Well furnished. Beautiful Christmas decor. Moneys' worth as rooms were priced at 3 star rates. Breakfast was a good spread of a variety of continental and south-east asian cusine. Staff very courteous and proffesional. Particular mention of Mr. Sugeng - the ever smiling door man. Large pool area with lots of space for kids to run around. Cons: An old establishment in slow grand decay. Rooms at the lower floors especially smoking floors are to be avoided - dirty, worn out and smells of tobacco. We asked for a change, and they obliged. Opt for non smoking rooms on floors above the 8th floor. Bar: Beautiful and cozy, but served no purpose - coz there was hardly any selection of drinks. The barman and bargirl had a poor knowledge of spirits and knew only to serve 2 varieties of beer!!! There was a singer belting out loud and off tune christmas songs (It was christmas eve). It took us a while to realise that she was singing inenglish.

An outdated worn-off building. I stayed there during the festive season. I stayed there for 8 nights, not a single time the cover of the duvet was changed. Electricity outdated and unreliable. No workable internet. WiFi sometimes yes, sometimes no. No chance of holding a zoom meeting. I asked for a knife to peel some fruits in my Executive King room, Naripan side. No, was the firm answer. Hopelessly outdated furniture, worn-off. Breakfast: a lot of food, more renown for quantity, then quality. Lots of people attending breakfast in their smelly sleeping attire, running screaming children everywhere. Cleaning a room can be difficult, cleaning an outdated bathroom and sanitary facilities seems very difficult. This hotel is old, too old. Next to the pool no deckchairs, no umbrellas. Spa and gym were, without prior notice, completely closed during the festive season (Why don't they do the alterations in the Ramadhan month, when it is closed anyway?). Museum also closed during this very busy month. After checkout, I missed my alarm clock, next to the bedside. I do hope someone is happy with that. I complained with the staff: no reaction. Present management focuses on large groups of people. I would advise Western tourists not to go there, for the quality it is definitely overpriced, underserviced and not worth it anymore. Just admire it from the outside. The former glory of Bandung.
