Strenneth

The strenneth is a gorgeous B&B, lovely and quite, with very clean rooms, breakfast was nice with a full English breakfast, cereal, toast and local apple juice on offer which tasted amazing, our host was really accommodating, helpful and friendly, we really couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to stay, thank you for a lovely visit

Beautiful rooms but if you want any kind of internet or phone signal then dont even bother! Have to keep ringing the night bell every hoir to get a fresh code that goves you 500mb of WiFi ffs who lives like this four chanmels on the tv and cant even watch my firestick without keep asking mister royston vasey for some access codes 😡 lovely place if you wanna live in 1984

Stayed here for two nights whilst racing at nearby snetterton , Lovely quiet country roads and countryside surrounded the venue, a great welcome on the first night even though I was quite late , shown round the room which has e do you need. Super clean and some nice touches soaps, bath foam, chocolates biscuits and the coffee and tea making facilities, bed comfy and everything worked as it should , great night sleep as so quiet! Wifima Little slow but not a problem , didn’t sample breakfast as left too early but it looks good on pics, would definitely stay here again , many thanks Andy

We spent a long weekend at Strenneth and as usual, it was great. We were planning to hire a boat and go on the Norfolk Broads , but thanks to Paul’s Suggestion, we ended up on a private guided trip that was amazing. We saw deer, otters, cormorants, herons , kingfishers and a whole host of other wildlife. We also Learnt so much about the history of the area and the uses of foliage and fauna. Definitely something ticked off my bucket list. Yolanda and Paul were excellent hosts, the food was amazing and we cannot wait to return.

Had a very enjoyable 6 night stay at Strenneth. Paul is a brilliant host and his breakfasts were excellent. We came to rely on his suggestions for places to visit and sights to see, so helpful. As bird lovers we were keen to see a barn owl when Paul told us they could often be seen in specific areas and were delighted when he offered to take us to the most popular ones. It was very kind of him and much appreciated especially as later in the day we were lucky enough to see an owl as it flew right over us from one field to the other. Certainly a very memorable stay, thank you Paul.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the Joe Kennedy room which had a four poster bed and beautiful period furniture, in keeping with the building. Our room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The area was peaceful and tranquil, yet within easy driving distance of amenities, including pubs etc. Our host, Paul, was marvellous; nothing was too much trouble and he really went above and beyond. Excellent stay as usual. We have visited Strenneth every couple of years for over a decade. It is an a**ospheric and relaxing retreat for those who like total quiet, yet still want to be near enough to amenities and activities. Paul and Yolanda have always been excellent and attentive hosts, offering polite and helpful advice on activities, local history, the best restaurants and all manner of random topics. I finally guessed the use of a perplexing antique furniture item this year (apparently only the second person ever to do so). The usage is a closely guarded secret, but all part of Paul’s light hearted humour. Having a chronic back problem, Paul even supplied a large bean bag and footstool to assist my personal comfort, something over and above what I expected, but much appreciated. I cannot commend our hosts enough and nothing was too much trouble for them. They even contacted a local farmer who supplied me with the best fresh Turkey we’ve ever had for Chris**as. So from our family Paul and Yolanda, a huge thank you too. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.
