Good location, nice restaurant with good selection on menu

This was the venue for our wedding day and it was absolutely brilliant all the staff were lovely and very attentive couldn’t fault them the hotel is modern with a touch of old world and very elegant couldn’t of imagined our special day anywhere else!!!

Me and my wife chose to get married here after going to my sister’s wedding here a few years earlier and we were impressed. We are so happy to say that we made the right choice. Choosing Moor Hall as our wedding venue was the best thing we could have done. They were very easy going the entire time. Anything we wanted to happen, they made it happen. They were very open with bringing outside entertainment and did everything possible to help make our dream wedding come true. Originally Charlotte sold us the wedding package but we were soon passed on to Tom & Claire and without them the day would not have been as amazing as it was. They were always on hand to answer any questions we had throughout the process and they were one of the main reasons the day was so good. The passion everyone at Moor Hall had at our wedding was outstanding. Everyone from the wedding coordinators to the bar staff treated our day with so much respect you’d think it was their own wedding! The whole day went without a problem and if we were to do our wedding all over again we would choose Moor Hall every time. I have no complaints with anything. The only thing I would change about the day would be the DJ company on the evening which was Moor Hall recommended. We were already worried about our first dance, so to be over a minute into it and having the song replay by the DJ was a clumsy but forgivable mistake. They also ordered drinks and added it to our bill (which is fine I would have just liked to have been asked) and they also brought their child to a wedding reception which specifically said no children (again, this is fine, but I would have appreciated being asked beforehand) Other than that they did a fantastic job throughout the night playing guests requests and kept the party alive throughout the evening. They also provided dry ice & sparklers for our first dance which will make for some incredible photos and videos when we receive them. We chose to have a burger buffet in the day as oppose to a sit down meal and all the food was excellent. We had pizza and chicken on the evening for guests and some say it was the best food they had in their life. Moor Hall did not let us down in any department. Huge shout out to Tom and Claire. They gave us the best day possible and it’s all thanks to them. Special thanks to Charlotte who booked our wedding originally and got the whole thing started. Thanks to Luke who helped with the wedding on the evening and to the young lady who was there throughout the day (I’m so sorry i forgot her name) but she did an excellent job organising everyone throughout the day

this was such a lovely trip. booked the dining pod outside and was served by Nell- she made it so special and romantic. really nice food and atmosphere. amazing time and experience, loved celebrating here. we definitely recommend to all couples!! xx

Our wedding was amazing and the staff at Moor Hall helped make it such a special day. Fortunately the weather was good and we married outside. The planner was wonderful and did everything exactly as we wanted and the support on the day was second to none. Our guests were treated very well and staff were very obliging. I cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful building and gardens, staff are very welcoming and friendly, leisure facilities are immaculate, room was very nice, complimentary water, tea coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Dinner service was efficient and had good choice of options, set menu if you want a cheaper option also large menu if you don’t mind what you spend but all food was reasonably priced and was delicious. Breakfast in the country kitchen was ok, food was really good however we were seated by the manager and just left until I addressed a waitress who was extremely helpful and got us sorted straight away.

A gift from our son, fantastic spa & overnight stay at Moor Hall. We were contacted before our stay to confirm times and allergies, hugely beneficial towards providing a quality service. Upon arrival, we were greeted with coffee and toast, before a tour and a couple of hours in the pool, steam room and sauna. Then to our very relaxing couples massage, very attentive and just the right amount of pressure, thanks to Amy & Paige. Followed by lunch, walk around the wonderful grounds, fantastic overnight stay, quality dinner and breakfast. Overall, a fabulous couple of days, will definitely book again 🙂

This is a lovely comfortable hotel in quiet attractive surroundings. We have stayed here a number of times and always enjoyed our stay. The rooms are varied but all very comfortable. The restaurant provides excellent choices for dinner and the food is very good. The staff are all extremely friends and the service is Definately 5*

Had a spa day for my friends birthday; we really enjoyed this and our spa treatments were great and the ladies were lovely. All amenities were great and we used the jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam room. They provided bath robes and towels too- the relaxation room was great ; with also not just tea and coffee but hot chocolate too! We had an afternoon tea afterwards and me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed this and all staff were professional and kind. Beautiful place. Definitely recommend. 5/5
