We stay here often and have had various guest experiences. Some good, some not so good and one bad experience a while ago. However, on this occasion everything was absolutely perfect and the staff went above and beyond. It almost felt like they had had a change of management. We booked two twins but on arrival there had been an error and we had a double and a twin, not an issue to the two guys on Reception who swiftly sorted this and arranged two beds in our booked rooms. We were offered a complimentary coffee while they sorted the beds. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. On our way back to our room, very late in the evening we asked if it would be possible to have a little oat milk for a cup of tea in our room for our vegan person. Again, not an issue at all and a very nice man poured a little oat milk into a glass for us to use. We all slept very well, no hotel noises or people making noise in the corridor. We have never had breakfast before but decided to give it a try. We had a vegan and a gluten free person with us. The front of house person, whose name was Jock was really friendly and so very helpful. Made us feel very welcome and filled us with confidence with choices for GF & Vegan options. The food was fantastic, fresh, piping hot and plentiful. We will certainly be having a breakfast next time. Thank you to Jock for making our experience even more perfect.
